This thing perseveres
The media could not be loaded. This has been a lot of fun. It does fit on a wooden train track such as the one for IKEA, it is just a little wide though so it doesn't handle turns super well. The battery life isn't great, but we do play with it a lot. It doesn't go into a true standby mode. If one of them gets bumped in a toy box they start talking to each other and I have found that if it is moving and it comes to a wall it will just keep trying to push forward for an absurdly long time which definitely adds to his battery issues. One of my very favorite features is the location of the speaker which is in a prime spot to add a piece of packing tape over to quiet it down a bit. All that said though I absolutely do love it. We have several of them at home and they have brought us great joy. They function simply enough that kids can operate them, there is no assembly required And some of these have survived drops, falls and crashes in our home for years without getting broken which is a pretty impressive feat. The paint and plastic still look great despite extensive use.

I bought this with the Thomas one and they are so cool when in-sink they talk back n forth to each other. My son definitely loves playing with them!

Wholesome and cute. My son loves them.
This train is fantastic. Voices work and and its fast, High quality design. It maintains traction well. No assembly required, Value for money is great, The only thing that is a little bit of an issue is that it can be a little top heavy, And if you use them on the tracks that are designed specifically for these trains they sometimes fall off on the turns. They either need to make the track more stable or make these trains with a lower center of balance. These trains will talk to every other train with the same "T" button on it. Its hilarious and super wholesome. It can be annoying when one of them goes off in a bin as then you have to go find it and turn it off. TIP FOR PARENTS.... Hold for 3 seconds is a temporary kill switch until the button is pushed again.

Super fun
This was an amazing add. They will carry it around the house, sit and play with it. The world of play they come up with is unreal and beautiful. It's not a super small train, fits perfectly in the toddlers hands and I am not worried about them putting it in their mouth. Functions great on the tracts and off, the traction is great no issues. They all interact with eachother great. Fun to hear the different phrases. Super strong and durable. Withholds a 2, 3, & 5 year old. Fun sayings and interactions with other trains. Fun colors. No odors. Easy to remove from package. Easy to use.

Decent buy
My 3 year old grandson loves Thomas the train and the great thing is that the actual trains talk to eachother when they are near eachother which radiates my grandson. Most of the talking trains are reasonably priced like deisel but some like Thomas are outrageously priced. The batteries didn’t last a day and have to keep changing the batteries which is a negative. Another negative is do not let it go near your hair or skin while it is powered on because he caught his skin and hair in it a couple times.
