Not worth it--handles tear easily

Cute and I like how they're packaged in sets of ten in the bigger package, but as soon as you begin to prep bags to stuff them the handles tear off. Not suitable for kids because they'll just get torn up immediately even if you're careful prepping bags before a party.

Not durable enough for my purposes

I ordered this pack of 50 SAVITA brand “Anime” Orange Gift Bags with Handles to use for a Mission Trip. I pack the party favor bags with items for Central American children and I need bags that will withstand quite a bit of handling before they ever make it to the children. These bags are packed 10 to a pouch, with five pouches in each pack. I dislike that they are segregated because for my purpose that means more work. It wasn’t particularly easy to pull just one gift bag from the pack of 10 as they stick slightly together at the handle area, but taking all 10 bags out at once allowed me to more easily separate one bag. I did not have any issues with the bags splitting open on the seams. I packed a couple full for test purposes and then grabbed it at the handle area five times. It ripped at the handle on one side, so that was disappointing! The material used to make this bag feels thinner from other party favor bags I’ve used in the past. I like the design of red stars on an orange background so that we can use these for either boy or girl. We do not distinguish what we give to the children so they all receive the same items and it’s nice to have one bag style that can be used for either gender. These hold what you would expect for a party favor bag… A small ball, a squishy or stuffy toy, candy, pencils or pens, some toiletry items, and so forth. However, when packed up to the handles and with heavier items, the handle tore off the side seam. $7 for 50 bags makes these $0.14 apiece, which I think is a great value for party favor bags. But with the handle breaking off, I have qualms about ordering them again myself. It’s probably sufficient to make it home from a child’s party but not sufficient to be handled multiple times or hold heavier weight items.
