A great quality set!
This is an absolutely brilliant little set packed with so many pieces and ideas. The main unit contains shapes to make burgers and fries, but the lid also doubles as a way to make even more food shapes like fruit, veg, ice cream. This is a really good use of space and ensuring maximum usability. The main unit works well and has a good solid hinge. Moreover it comes with lots of small play items (utensils and plates). This really rounds out the food theme. The included booklet has 'recipe' ideas and this is complimented with the generous 10 packs of clay. It's a shame this does not come with play-doh style dough. Instead it comes with air drying clay which means you only get a single use. If you keep any leftover clay in an airtight container, you can prolong it's lifespan, but it is still limited. In good news, it's very easy and relatively cheap to buy more air drying clay. And this food maker can be used with other dough. The air drying clay is good quality and easy to work with. The kids really enjoyed an afternoon of making their own food and the clay has plenty of working time, allowing the kids to take their time with their creations. We had to leave them for a few days to really dry through, but we were happy with the results. Very impressed with this kit. It's well presented too and would make an excellent gift!

Air dry clay
Very fun air dry clay the size is great and has many moulds that it comes with and packets of clay. It was very fun for my kids to play. It did take more than a day to dry though

Also great with play doh
This is a lovely set. We used the clay up but now use it with play doh so can be used again and again. My 4 year old loves playing pretend picnics with this set. Easy for little hands to use too

kept my son busy for hours
My son saw this at a friend’s house and couldn’t stop talking about it, so I ordered one to surprise him over the weekend. He’s usually not into arts and crafts, but something about making tiny burgers and cupcakes had him completely hooked. The clay is soft and easy to shape, and he loved using the press to create little dishes for his pretend restaurant. It does take a bit of patience to get the details right, but that just made it more rewarding. Everything dries nicely without mess and the pieces stay firm once set. It turned into a fun afternoon activity we both got involved in. Definitely a good shout if you're after something creative and screen-free that doesn’t need constant supervision.
