Excellent brainy gift
Great puzzle! Very fun and challenging. For a younger child, buy the normal kanoodle. This was a gift for an adult. It would be good for a smart kid or teenager too. Perfect to keep in your pocket and play in a waiting room or a restaurant, etc. I would say age 10 and up, but for the lower range, the child would need to be very smart and appreciate a puzzle

LOVE!!!
My kids like the regular kanoodle game. It's challenging and my 5 year old can play with it. I wanted a little more of a challenge for myself, so I bought this one. It's so fun! It's definitely more difficult, but still very much like the original. However, my 13 year old has stolen it from me. I guess I will have to get a couple more. They're reasonably priced, so I'm not upset about it. I also love that it's not a screen!!! ????

Love a kanoodle puzzle!
I bought the Kanoodle Genius game for my 10-year-old son who loves puzzles and challenges. He was very excited to try it out and started with the easy level. He quickly moved on to the medium and hard levels, and he was hooked. He spent hours trying to solve the different puzzles, and he even challenged me and his dad to compete with him. The game is very well-made, with colorful pieces that fit snugly into the board. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the booklet has 200 puzzles of varying difficulty. The game also comes with a handy case that stores everything neatly and makes it easy to travel with. I highly recommend this game for anyone who enjoys brain teasers and logic puzzles. It is fun, educational, and challenging for kids and adults alike.

I love it!
I have had this product for several years, and I have always loved it. I got it when I was 13, after seeing it in a magazine, and doing the puzzles, or just playing around with the pieces, has always been really fun. It makes me feel smart when I solve the toughest ones. It’s a really cool puzzle. Plus, it is optimal for travel because of its portability. The case provides two playing boards (2D and 3D, and the 3D ones are harder), the fun, brightly colored pieces with hexagonal texturing (I love the sensory feel to them), and the booklet with instructions and puzzles. The pieces and booklet fit inside, and the boards are built into the case. You might even be able to fit the case it in your back pocket. Usually I just stuff it in my travel backpack with boredom busters so I don’t drain the batteries on my 3DS or anything. It’s incredibly durable, lots of fun, and has plenty of replay value. It’s best for one player, in my opinion, but I could see two people working together on this, or doing it with a group where each person gets a turn with a set amount of time to put a piece down. If you want to give this as a gift, make sure they don’t mind puzzles. I would say 7-8 and up, but the pieces are colorful and fun on their own and don’t seem like a choking hazard, so you could go younger. I’m not a puzzle person myself, but this is a lot easier than solving a Rubix’s Cube! Great price, high quality product!

These are so much fun! I got them as stocking stuffers and my kids use them all the time. They are perfect for car trips. They are challenging and there are enough puzzles in there to last a while. Perfect for kids 5 and up I would say.

We love this! It's exercise for the brain!
I wanted something to keep my mind active, and this little brain teaser does not disappoint! My husband and I LOVE it. On top of the case is a triangular grid for building 3-D puzzles; inside is a grid for 2-D. I like both, but I think we like the 3-D most of all. The "noodles" are strong and sturdy. I don't know about using the 3-D puzzles while traveling because some of the setups are prone to fall over if you aren't keeping the grid still; I've had them turn over in my lap when I tried to put the noodles in place. I think the 2-D puzzles would be fine while traveling. The instruction book is helpful and the puzzles are fun. It's ready to go out of the box and doesn't really require much forethought; just set up the puzzle according to the color-coded game grid in the booklet and fill in with the unused noodles. It's suitable for most ages and ranges of spatial intelligence -- I don't possess much of that, but my husband does. He can sometimes see a solution easier than I can, but I haven't found one yet that I couldn't solve if I was in the mood to keep at it a few minutes. You won't get bored. Better get a couple of them if you have more than one person in the house who will be interested in playing; I think it would be fun to let 2 people race to complete identical puzzles. It makes a great gift, too (I gifted myself with it)!
