I own several other plasticville kits which I use for wargaming scenery. This is one of the better kits in my opinion. It goes together easily without glue, stays together without glue and the colors it's molded in aren't hideous. The bulk is molded in a not-quite-metallic gray that does well enough. Accessory pieces (doors, window shades, roof) are molded in black. For the doors and windows, this is ok. For the roof, it ends up looking like just a miscellaneous piece of plastic on the top. To make it realistic, there's a bit of tricky filling that would need to be done on the seams. Some attempts to mold in A/C and vents on the rear mostly looks cartoony, so I'd remove them and kit bash or scratch build my own details on the rear if I were to try to dress this kit up. Overall, great buy for the price. Doesn't hold a candle to more expensive options out there, but this is a happy balance of price/quality.

Bought this for our Budweiser beach scene O scale train layout. I simply repainted the diner in red and white and put a Budweiser sticker over the plasticville diner wording. It worked perfect.

Bachmann Trains Diner
This building is a nice bit of scenery to add to any track. It has a nice compact design, so once one snaps the pieces together, they will stay that way, without requiring any tape or glue as many of Bachmann's "snap-fit" products do.
