Direct Replacement for Arnold Type Couples
Just remove the Arnold type couplers and install these couplers in their place in the pocket on the truck. A fairly easy operation. These couplers look and function so much better than those original Arnold type couplers.

Couplers ok - Horizon Hobby is not. Amazon, is this the type of dealer you want to work with?
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Thanks to Horizon hobby,buying these ended up beuing a VERY unhappy experience. The listing was for a dozen couplers (long shank) marked down from $24.99 to $2.17. Sounded great - enough couplers to begin the conversion of my N gage fleet to knuckle couplers. I urdered two dozen pair, They sent me two pair. I emailed them and asked them where the other 22 pair were and they informed me that the listing had been misworded and they were working with Amazon to correct it and the two pair were all I was going to get. They have since changed the ad to reflect that the dozen is now $!8.44 instead of $2.17. NO OFFERS TO CORRECT what was obviously their problem That smacks of "Bait and switch" to me!!!!! At the same time I ordered two dozen short shank couplers from another of their amazon listings with EXACTLY the same two couplers received and "TOUGH LUCK" attitude from Horizon Hobby... BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Amazon, is this the type of dealer you want to work with?

Car work much better now
I had about 7 or 8 Bachmann cars that had the basic non magnetic knuckle couplers. Kind of a pain to use. These Mark II Magnetic Knuckle Couplers got the cars up to snuff with the rest of my Bachmann cars. They work well with and seem to be perfect match. Installing them is a bit of pain because stuff is so small. Lost one coupler as it flew across the room. I sometimes find the lost stuff just keeping a eye out for it over time. I had enough for the job though. Even a few left over.
