Perfect gift for any girl!
The size and cuteness was perfect for my 7 year old! This toy is easy to use (function) great value for our money, she has loads of fun, and it was built great.

Adorable set, dough isn't very good.
The set itself is cute, and creates a lot of opportunities for play. Unfortunately, you should probably go buy your own dough since there isn't much included (and the colors are very limited). I wasn't as big of a fan of this dough compared to some other brands. It's too crumbly in the molds. So yeah - molds are super cute, good, can be re-used over and over. Just get your own dough.

Loads of fun
Really cute and fun Barbie and Play-Doh set, I love when two different child’s toys do a collaboration because it allows so much more fun for your kids and this set does just that. I like this has to do with pets because my daughter loves animals would be a perfect gift for her for her birthday. I like the colors of the Play-Doh as well that come with it because they’re really good staple colors but I think she will use a lot and love. The set seems to be very well-made and some thing that she will have so much fun with which makes it a great gift and a great value for the money that you spend.

Nice children's toy
Our daughters love modeling compound and love Barbie, so this was a no-brainer. They love to show us the puppies and kitties and generally just like the molds for this more than other similar toys that they may have. It comes with enough of the modeling compound for them to have some get lost or dirty or... and keep playing with it. It's also compatible with other "modeling compounds."

Fun Play Dough activity for the kids
I got this Barbie Softee Dough set for my little girls to play with to occupy an afternoon. This set is only branded with Barbie and does not include the doll. It uses the Cra-Z-Art Softee Dough (their version of Playdoh). The dough is soft and smells nice. The kids liked playing with it until they inevitably mixed all the dough colors together. Some of the dough did not release from the corners of the molds (happens when you don't have enough excess dough to hold onto). Overall, this is good play dough set and it kept my kids busy.

Molds are Good, Dough is Bad
This is decently priced for what it is... but I can't recommend this set alone. The Cra-Z-Art knockoff of Playdoh is bad... really bad. It crumbles badly and makes a mess right out of the container. Only ONE of the colors is decently pliable enough to hold together, but Playdoh is much, much better. Another miss is on the colors. The box's picture shows all sorts of colors for the animals and the accessories they wear that aren't included.. like the green on the carrot and turtle, or the orange on the carrot. The molds, on the other hand, are pretty good. The press-molds for the four animals are well made. You over-fill them, and squeeze them tight, and the animals come out pretty well. GOOD Playdoh works well, the Cra-Z-Art is too crumbly, and the animals heads fall off before you know it. The molds on the table are also pretty good, but the set didn't come with a squeegee to press them down. Probably not a problem for little kid fingers, but my daughter was trying to use the cheap 2D Barbie thing like a spatula anyways, and was frustrated by it. Overall, I think it's an okay set due to the molds being so re-usable, but the dough really detracts from the value.

not as many items, but good accessory set
This product includes a few items when it comes to what could be used for playtime. You do not have a large quantity of items included for the price value but the items are of good quality. This is not best as a primary toy but as an accessory to another item or set. Overall, the quality is decent.

Very fun Barbie Softee Dough Pet Shop Playset.
This Barbie (Softee Dough) playset is very cute, and comes with everything shown; there's 6 compounds (3 are in jars), and they're moldable, fun, and in come in 6 colors. Then there's the playset itself, which is like a pet shop and grooming salon for the animals; there's molds to make the animal designs and features. It's very easy to use, functions well, and a fun idea for kids imaginations; the whole playset is brightly designed, and evokes imaginative play. This playset is very nice, and could be a great set for many children; it's for ages 3 and up (according to the listing), and is very durable as well. I think this is a very nice playset, especially considering how many colors are included. Everything is easy to clean up, and the size makes it easy to store for when it's nor in use. Personally, I think this is a great quality product that's at a reasonable price point. I also think it could be a great gift idea as well!
