while we bought this primarily for our soon to come newborn, we gave it to our daughter who loves it.. she will learn to share ith with her baby brother once he's out in a few months. .the doll is immediately recognizable to her as she's a big barney fan. she loves the sounds and has slept with him a few times. the sound is very clear english and recognizable also. I think fisher price is a legendary brand that makes great toys, you really can't go wrong with them in terms of quality and safety.

Cute Barney
I bought this for my granddaughter, and she was delighted when she received it. It is soft and very entertaining. It talks and moves its hands. Its also the perfect size, which stands about a foot tall. All parts are secured very well, and it is a durable toy for a child. It is a very cute Barney that any child would love.

Great for young Barney fans!!
I got this to give to a kids’ charity and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Barney was a favorite of my daughter when she was little so I’m excited to see he’s still around and bringing joy and smiles. He’s soft but not soft in the normal plushie sense, but that’s okay because he has to be sturdy so he can dance. So while he’s definitely meant to and great for cuddling, it’s not the same as cuddling a plush. I love the light up and interactive features which will get any child up and moving, singing and dancing along. I feel like maybe his movements could be a little smoother, but maybe it’s not possible. But since he is a bit herky jerky in how he moves, I’d say he’s designed more for younger children, maybe 2 to 5. Overall, a really nice interactive toy made of quality materials.

Great Plush Toy for Kids
I got this Barney plush for my toddler, and it’s been a big hit. The 13-inch figure is soft and perfect for play, with a cute purple design and glowing hands that make it fun. It arrived quickly with Prime shipping, and the 30+ phrases, sounds, and 3 sing-along songs keep my kid entertained. The imaginative storytelling it encourages is great for 2-year-olds and older. The material feels durable and the texture is nice, but the sound quality could be clearer at times. It requires batteries, which wasn’t a surprise, but it can’t be washed, so I have to be careful with messes. The value is good for the features, and it’s a lovely toy for dancing and singing along. Highly recommend for young fans!

This is a great size for younger kids. My kiddo is almost 3 and absolutely loves this guy. He’s a great size to carry around, and is a bit heavy as he has so many mechanical components. He’s not exactly soft, but he’s comfortable if that makes sense. The fabric isn’t abrasive, but it’s not exactly like a normal plush, either. That’s fine as he dances and sings! Kiddo loves this. I would absolutely purchase this for a gift. The price is well worth what this toy does IMO! It keeps my little one entertained long enough (????) and she’s very happy when she sees it. It’s cute and the quality feels like it’ll last for quite awhile. It doesn’t feel cheaply made at all, and is absolutely worth its weight in “gold.” TLDR; Worth its price, very cute, and keeps my kiddo entertained long enough (iykyk). I’d recommend this as a gift, or just for fun! Pick it up if you’re thinking about doing so! ????
