Just perfect for pretend play!
Our 5 now 6 year old granddaughter loves to play restaurant, this added item just thrilled her and loves to play even more! This is very sturdy, lightweight so if it fell, won't hurt your child, nice amount of money included AND a credit card!!!! This is a perfect gift!

This is an excellent learning toy.
I bought this as a fun, learning toy for my niece. I looked at several similar toy cash registers. I chose to purchase this one because it contained a real fully functioning calculator and a sectioned cash drawer, divided for different bills and a section for coins. Also, the register rings when the drawer is opened, and it has a credit card slot. (Play credit card is included.) I wanted my niece to be able to play store with this register by selling pretend items, adding up the costs, and receiving play money in payment and then making change to give her customers. This cash register is ideal for this pretend play. My only negative concern was that very little play money came with it. It had a few bills and four coins. I bought additional play money so our girl could play store and practice the important math life skills of counting money and making change. In addition, for younger children, this toy provides a good way for them to learn to count by fives (nickels) and tens (dimes), etc.

We took my 2 year old to a play place and he fell in love with this same exact model of toy. We got it and he loves it

kids love it
Ordered for kids in family that love playing they are running a drive through. Cash register is very nice and bigger than expected which I really like. Adding machine really works and makes beeping noises as numbers are pressed and even has a credit card and slot to run the card which also beeps making playtime more realistic. Adults love it too, lol and it comes with play money and also can use money from other games or even real money if wanted. Definitely happy with purchase and look forward to lots of playtime with this. I would absolutely recommend. Children using this are too young to actually add numbers right now, but it will definitely help them with adding as they grow older

Son loves it but mom and dog's nerves don't love the beep
Alright, my son thinks thinks this is amazing and I ordered it as one of his birthday presents. He is turning 7, and he also is just starting to earn allowance so it is tying together. This is a pretty big cash register, and it is like a big calculator. They send you fake paper money, plastic coins, and a plastic credit card. They send you four different paper bills but there are only three slots in the back, which it would make sense to have 4. With the coins you have an extra space so what you need is sort of flip-flopped. There is an on and off button underneath, and it gives a loud beep when you press the button. I have to say that is the biggest negative for me is that loud, annoying beep as it sounds exactly like when you're smoke detector battery is running low. My little dog was terrified hiding under my bed, and in her 11 years I've never seen her hide under a bed and we finally figured it out she's scared of the beep. We recently had an incident with a smoke detector needing a battery and she was next to me when I was putting a new one in and it beeped so loud and scared us both and she was a little traumatized. but the big saving grace here is you can turn it off where it doesn't beep and the tray still opens up (big hand clap from this momma). But the calculator won't work if you turn it off. Anyway, I think I would rate this 4.5 stars, but my son definitely rates it a 5. I appreciate it (when the volume is off) lol.

Great toy but has some caveats.
Great great buy for our little (5) she loves it and it is well made, super fun and teaches her simple math. Buttons work well and display is great. However,... Money looks waaaayyy to fake to pass for real money. The cumbies near us wouldn't even take it for a scratchy. Wish they designed the money to be more realistic. Besides that, this thing was a crowd pleaser with our little????????????
