peter does not want to go back into his box...????
...but that's quite ok. he's cute as can be popped out of it. hence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i grew up with jack in the boxes, my neighbor a year older than me did as well, and yet another neighbor (6 years older than me) all had jack in the boxes growing up so i would think we have some expertise in the mechanics of jack in the boxes???? yet all we can remember is cranking the song and jacks popping out of boxes but not how we got them back in!???? i would give this to an adult such as myself that grew up with peter rabbit, owned a peter rabbit (instead of a teddy bear) and loved her peter rabbit until he was bald in some places. the box has beautiful illustrations all around it that look like those in the book. peter rabbit is VERY well made. the packaging is kept to a minimum but absolutely kept the box in perfect condition. the pop the weasel song will play just fine whether peter is in the box or not. i would categorize this as a collector's or decorator item to enjoy and not a toy but that's just my opinion.

Good but hard to keep the rabbit down when closing lid
Daughter loves it! However i wish there was a thing where once you push the rabbit down it lockes so you can then close the door on it. But no, im having to hold the rabbit down while my daughter tries to shut my fingers in with it so it wont pop our pre maturely lol

Easy to use and fun!
Our grandchildren love this! It works well. The pop is surprising and fun! The three-year-old quickly learned how to turn the handle a little bit more and push the rabbit back in while shutting the lid. I'm buying more for more grandchildren.

Poor quality
Poor quality! The music stopped working after a month of usage. The one star is for the illustrations and beautiful box. Other than that it wasn't worth it ????

Such a cute addition to any nursery! It looks to be nicely made and the rabbit springs up gently. The company packaged the item very securely.

Good toy
Well made, music is clear and loud enough, bunny pops but did not scare my son. Easy to spin as well.
