great quality
I highly rate Bigjigs Toys as durable, high quality, value for money with their durability and an all round family favourite. The wooden tea set is no exception, they make a brilliant toy for children to encourage home play and imaginative play. They last generations as are excellent quality so can be played with again and again. They come well packaged. highly recommend

Top toy tea set
Got this for my nephew to play with when he comes over for regular family visits. This wooden tea set for two is absolutely adorable. It consists of a kettle and lid, 2 cups, 2 saucers, 2 teabags, a biscuit and a gingerbread man. The detail and effort put into this set is easy to spot. The gingerbread man has nicely detailed trimmings and a smiley face. The biscuit has ‘chocolate chips’ on the top. The teabags have prints on the front, one for regular, one for mint. The cups have a lovely design and the kettle has a removable lid, slightly retractable power cable and a drawn on fill measure on the side. My nephew absolutely loved playing with this. He loves to play tea time games so was thrilled when I got this out. The wooden items are quality and there’s zero need to worry about breakages as everything is sturdy. You also don’t need to worry about more plastic as everything in this set is wooden. To top it off, it was designed in the UK. Overall, I’m really happy with this toy tea set. It’s a premium product but is high quality and is lovingly created and detailed. This will last for years, unlike the usual plastic counterparts. Fantastic.

Solidly made, well designed, but no biscuits included :( *sobs*
Impossibile caricare il contenuto multimediale. A solid well made playtime tea set, which has a kettle with rather special features - a pretend wooden hotplate to stand it on, and a mock 'on / off 'switch' too. The painted decoration showing the water-line is sublime. Even as an adult, that kind of attention to detail makes me immensely happy. I was super impressed with the quality, but the kettle is rather heavy - it's a chunky bit of kit, no doubt about it - but I would worry if a child dropped it on my foot, let alone theirs. Now for the very serious bit. Both the listing and the box suggest there should be x2 teabags and x2 biscuits, however, I received x4 teabags and ZERO biscuits. Now I adore tea, but that gingerbread man looked delicious and I am utterly bereft :( So a word of warning: apparently, printed on the box is the phrase "contents may vary". Anyway, I will have to deduct a whole star for the lack of sustenance provided, as the listing clearly states that biscuits (albeit the wooden kind) ARE included, not 'contents may vary'. It's not a proper 'tea time' without them, is it? Otherwise, I can't fault this little set. It's an excellent design and feels indestructible. But alas, I'll have to provide my own tea-time treats... *sobs*

A lovely set
I’ve had a fair few Bigjigs toys over the years and have always been pretty impressed with the quality of their offerings. For those of you who haven’t come across the company before, Bigjigs was formed in 1985 in Kent, England. It has grown sice then, but is still proud to call itself a family run business. Their mission statement is to ‘deliver quality, safe and affordable products which are responsibly sourced and complement childhood development through fun, exploration, and learning.’ Many of their toys are made from wood and include trains, jigsaws and games. This set is made from wood, as many other of the sets in this range are. This tea set features tenpieces in total - including a kettle, cups, plates, biscuits and tea bags - all of which are made from sustainably sourced FSC Certified wood, conforming to EN71 Toy Safety Standards and decorated with non-toxic paints & lacquers used We introduced the set to a year and a half old little girl. The set does say that it is for ages 18 months and over, so it is well pitched for her age. She had a lovely play with the set and was completely taken with it and had lots of fun making tea for the family.

Looks OK but not great to play with
I was disappointed by this tea set. Here's why: ???? The teapot is very heavy - this is because the body is made from a solid piece of wood that's only partially holed out inside. It will hurt a small child if it drops from a table onto their toe, for example. ???? The teapot has an on/off switch that's a piece of wood on elastic. But instead of flicking the wood button up or down, a child can pull it out of the teapot on the elastic ... and then it stayed too far out to work properly as an on/off switch as it just stays drooped down because the elastic isn't good enough ???? Are they tea plates or saucers? They're too big to be saucers really, and they're very thin wood in comparison to everything else and the tea cup slides around on it when a child carries it. So, plenty of room to improve this set and, despite it looking good, I wouldn't recommend it.
