I bought the officially licensed bobblehead listed on Amazon, which is described as the 7" figure, but is actually a barely 5" plastic "dashboard dancer", for $25 (the price dropped to $18 two days later). While it is good quality, it wasn't what I thought I was getting, and it wasn't worth $25. since it's meant to be a V-Day gift for my boyfriend, I didn't have time to order the officially licensed 7" version directly from the NBC store, so I decided I'd try one of the "knock offs" on Amazon and hope it would be closer to what I was actually hoping for. SO glad I did that! this guy arrived today, and I couldn't be happier! the reviews were generally good although a couple did mention the item having broken during shipping or shortly after opening. Mine arrived in great condition, and I had no problem taking it out of the package to inspect it. This figure is MUCH heavier than the smaller one, as it is made of resin rather than plastic. I can see why some people may have had issues with the head popping off during unpackaging, because due to the weight of the head and small neck attachment (which, as a bobblehead, is attached by a spring), you do need to be very careful and support the head as well as the base when removing from the packaging. the figure is packaged in a sort of clamshell/blisterpack combo; two halves, with a sort of molded "pocket" that fits snugly around the figure when the two halves are clamshelled together. the two halves also secure together, so it's VERY secure. the box is cute, too! as it isn't an officially licensed product, the package design is more "inspired" by The Office rather than using actual images, but it's done very well and could probably pass for an official item. If you're into keeping the boxes for display, it would definitely be worth it. the bobblehead itself actually looks better than the officially licensed one, in my opinion! I compared the two (I'll try to take comparison pics before I return the official one and edit this review later, I didn't think to when I took the ones I've already included), and I think this one looks less cartoonish than the official one, and absolutely much closer to screen-accurate (to the bobblehead used on the show). The official figure does have glasses that are attached to the head but are a separate piece, and the glasses on this one are molded as part of the figure itself, but thet are still very 3-dimensional and well done. it may even be an advantage, as the ones on the official figure might be more easily broken off. I didn't measure this figure to compare to the measurements on the product description -- because I was just so excited about how great it is! -- I don't think it's a full 7", but it is definitely much taller than the official 5" one, and the quality more than makes up for any lacking height. This figure also comes with an amusing letter "from Dwight"; the official one said in the product description that it also included a message from Dwight, but it didn't. The letter mentions a website (for more merchandise?), but the website is now defunct, but I don't mind that. all in all, this bobblehead was $20 -- $5 less than the official one (on Amazon, not the NBC store; that was is ~$35), and WAY better! worth every penny! I would love to find a totally screen-accurate version (it looks closer to maybe 9" or 10" tall on the show), but since that doesn't seem to be an option, this is about as close as a fan can get. I'm very pleased and can't wait to leave it in my boyfriend's desk (we work together), with a note that says "it is Valentine's Day." :)
