Well received
Our 3 year old granddaughter plays long side of her big brother with a sizable Brio train set. The castle, train, and especially its princesses , were an immediate hit. To the point, she stopped opening the rest of her Christmas presents to play with it for a while.

It really is overpriced for what it is.
I know sometimes when there are lower reviews it can be dude to varied expectations from each individual customer. But this set was disappointing enough that I felt like I needed to share my thoughts. It’s definitely a lot smaller than I expected. My wife and I were so excited that our daughter was old enough to be looking forward to Christmas and Santa and we thought this would be the perfect thing to have assembled beneath the tree and ready to play with when she came down. On Christmas Eve I put it together (which to be very fair only takes a few minutes) but I was so bummed that I literally debated on running out to Walmart to try to find a substitute gift (then my wife reminded me the true meaning of Christmas) But now it’s been a few days and we’ve been playing with it and my daughter does enjoy the set. Like other reviewers mentioned the purple tops do fall off with the gentlest touch. All in all. It’s not a bad product but it’s exactly three stars good. And from a value standpoint I think it’s massively underwhelming.

Overpriced
It's cute but it is way overpriced. Every time I touch it the purple roofs fall off our flag is missing and the slide just falls off for literally no reason. Not sturdy at all. Not worth the money.

Cute add on to existing Brio pieces
Disappointed that it is primarily plastic. Brio sets were once all wood.

Not worth the money
Like other reviews said the tops of the castle fall off with slightest touch. My daughter loves the princess (but in all fairness) she loves anything and everything princess. I wouldn’t recommend this set though.

Expensive, but brings a lot of joy. But please don't glue on the turrets!
Bought for a 18mth old who already had some exposure to playing with her brothers trains. She loves it. Some complain the turrets fall off too easily, but I'd expect this is to prevent impaling your child should they fall on it. It also gives them an activity to put the turrets back on to improve motor skills. This is a good thing. They don't need to be glued in place!!

Nice but overpriced
The product is decent, but it doesn’t justify the high price. It feels overpriced for what it offers.
