Great costume for the school presentation
Our class prepared a presentation about American revolution and this costume was a great fit for my son playing a role of General Rochambeau. I was a little upset about lack of the wig. It could be a great addition. Overall, this costume is worth the price I paid. We happily donated it to school after the play.

Great costume for your little Minuteman!
As a Boston native, I really appreciated that I could find an American Patriot costume for my 11yo son. He really enjoyed dressing up like the heroes he is currently learning about. The costume itself is very well made. I did have him wear a white t-shirt under it as the neckerchief didn't quite cover up his bare skin. The shoe covers were sturdy enough to stay up and looked very realistic. The sash, however, was a little lame and he didn't enjoy fussing with it. Note the hat, the firearm and wig do not come with the costume. I thought the hat should have been included, at least. I ended up skipping the wig, adding one of his own firearms and buying a hat.

Solid Costume for a Founding Father
Overall, we we're happy with this purchase and got many compliments on my son's Alexander Hamilton Halloween costume. The main component is the Jacket/vest combo. It's one piece, constructed like a cardigan that looks like two pieces. The fabric had a slight stretch, but was thicker than most costumes. The colors were saturated. The buttons on the jacket are printed on, while the buttons on the vest are functional. The coat tails showed a contrasting red underlayer, which made the whole outfit look better. My son is a 10/12 and the XL fit well. The other components were ok. The boot covers looked good with the black loafers we paired them with. The scarf was a little skimpy, but looked ok. We completely discarded the belt. It made the whole outfit look worse.

My 6 year old son was Alexander Hamilton for Halloween and this costume is fantastic. It is much higher quality than we expected (we have a similar one billed as a "george washington" costume). It has details - gold buttons - that add to the charm and authenticity. We did have to tape down the white vinyl belt because when adjusted for his size it kind of hung done and it didn't have an additional loop to hold it. But otherwise super pleased with the purchase and my son was delighted.

RUNS SMALL
So this costume is incredibly cute. Two things though - it runs very small. I ordered a large for my 6 year old because the medium size wasn’t Prime and would take too long to be delivered. My son is 6 but wears size 8 or medium in Gap and most other brands. The large fit him perfectly. Second thing to consider - the buttons that hold the folded coattails back came off the first afternoon. He was wearing the costume for a piano recital, so it wasn’t like he was wrestling or runnig around. That was a bummer and I’ll have to sew them back on. Still a great costume - he will wear it again to see Hamilton in the spring.

Really nice quality costume. Note you’ll need your own white shirt and beige pants, and black shoes. Also doesn’t come with a hat.

Respect du délai livraison. La veste principale est très belle et reflète bien le rendu pour un costume. Un bouton s'est décousu lors du 1er essai sinon rien de majeur (la fausse courroie est peut-être légèrement lousse). Garçon de 9 ans était bien fière.
