Kind of slimey
These paints aren't like regular finger paints; they're sort of slimey. They take forever to dry, and once they do, it's kind of sticky. I wasn't a fan, for sure.

It is like painting with liquid dish soap or vegetable oil
It is like painting with liquid dish soap or vegetable oil. It SORT OF has a little color. Mostly transparent, though. It is a horrible product. My two and a half year old didn't care. He still had a blast with it. So I gave it two stars. A lady at the store recommended mixing in a drop of dish detergent to make clean-up easier. I didn't do that, but it seemed like it might be a good idea. I washed everything right away and I didn't not have any staining. His white t-shirt was covered with paint and that came out 100% clean. Another idea is to use an old egg carton to squeeze out a little of each color. That way the kids aren't sticking their dirty fingers right in the jars and mixing the colors. I didn't do that either. I got this so cheap that I didn't even try to get more than one use out of it. The paper that comes with it is pretty useless just because it is so small. I used a 36 inch roll of brown builders paper from Home Depot. The kids had hundreds of square feet to paint. The transparent paint worked even less well on the brown paper, but it was fun, so who cares. Older kids might be more discerning.

Don't buy this
Some of the paint is thick like drying glue and some is runny like vegetable oil mixed with dish soap. Bubbly and slimy on the paper. Sponges don't get a clear shape even with adult help. Paper is small and shiny. Three paint lost it's color, but never actually dried, just turned sticky. Terrible waste of time and plastic. I wouldn't buy this for the children of my enemies... Well, maybe I would. Buy yourself some Crayola washable paint and literally any other paper instead.

Almost Impossible to Open
These paints are almost impossible to open. They literally may be the hardest thing I've ever opened. They required so much force to open, that once you get them popped open, the paint goes flying everywhere. Also dyed my hands all blue where it does not wash out. I rarely write reviews. I would never recommend this product. Paint is ok.

Total Waste.
Don't buy this, it's horrible. We got it as a gift and my 5 and 3 year old hated it. It's called finger paint but the cover makes it look like sponge paint. It does neither very well. The paint is like gel paint, very thick. Probably good for finger painting because you can push it around the paper but it comes in these small mouth containers (the cover shows wide mouth cups which is a lie). So it hard to get your hands into the containers but the paint is so thick you can't pour it into anything else for you kids to access it. You have to squeeze it out like toothpaste and once it's out it's never getting it back in. It does come with sponges in various shapes, as the cover shows, but the paint is so thick it doesn't soak into the sponge. I figured if I mixed it with water it would thin out, boy was I wrong. I made a huge mess of our table and threw the whole thing in the trash after ten minutes.
