Cute little birds.
The kids loved these for a day or two, like every toy that they get. I was leery because of the reviews. I thought I didn’t want to get one that works and doesn’t work and have my kids fighting about getting the one that works and actually it was a birthday present for my daughter and she gave one to my son without us even asking her so that was very sweet of her. The battery seems to last long enough for them to get bored with the toy. The kids liked them. They’re cute and the quality is nice.

Love Happy Yappers! But Ditch the Theme Song!!!
I have a lot of thoughts on these toys. For starters, they are a great toy to encourage speech if you have a speech delayed toddler like I do. These really encourage my 3.5yo daughter to speak more often because she loves the little voice repeating her. However, they repeat everything back. So they will also pick up sounds from the TV, radio, other toys, etc, which can drive you bonkers if you're in a hectic house filled with kids and also on sensory overload. The battery life is about 40-45min- which I'm sure some may complain about.. but I think that's great because as a parent, I need a break from them throughout the day and when they need to be charged, its very easy to say Oops! Mr. Bird needs a nap now! My kids now bring them to me and tell me their birds need to nap so they will wake up and sing again. I do wish they would remove the happy yappers theme song option or at least make it so they sync up and play it in time together. My kids both love the song but will play them at different times and I'm not fan. Overall. My kids LOVE these. They kind of drive me crazy as a parent, but their joy far outweighs me being slightly annoyed, especially given that they have a shorter battery life so they are never on for hours at a time. I like that they are USB-C charged. We have plenty of those around so the universal charger is appreciated, though each came with its own charger. The pink flamingo and black toucan designs are adorable. Without hesitation, my daughter grabbed the flamingo and my son went right for the toucan. They love that there is one for each of them and that they talk to each other. They are the perfect size for toddlers. My kids say 5 stars! I knocked one off for the annoying theme song. Other than that, this is an excellent toy, high quality. VERY happy with it.

Almost like having real birds… almost
These really do what they say. They flap, sing, and copy everything around them, including each other (incessantly on occasion). Once they start going back and forth it gets pretty funny. We have conures, so the chaotic one-upping of noise feels oddly familiar. Not exact, but close enough that it made us laugh. They feel well made and charge fast. The batteries don’t last long, but they do have a built-in nap time and will shut themselves off after a while, which is actually nice. Gives everyone a break from the nonstop chatter. The slap bracelet part works well and makes me nostalgic for the 90s. You need both birds for them to be fun since the chatter is the whole point. They’re cute, bright, and sturdy. The price is higher than I’d like, but they’ve been a hit here. Loud, silly, and weirdly charming.

Lots of fun, but be prepared for the noise!
My daughter is three years old and LOVES to talk. Talks nonstop, says absolutely everything that is on her mind. These have been a very fun outlet for her. Even though they just repeat what she says, she engages in conversation with them more than she does with static toys. The wing movement gives the birds a lot of character and makes them feel more alive, much more so than if they just spoke and didn't move. The colors and designs are vibrant and cute, and I love the use of the slap bracelet, which means the animals can accompany my daughter effortlessly without needing to be picked up and moved separately. The only downside of these is... they just add to the noise in my household, ha! Be prepared for a very rowdy ~30 minutes if your little one uses them until the batteries run out. We've gone through two marathon cycles so far. With that said, I'm thankful for the batteries being what they are. These are rechargeable, which means we have some guaranteed downtime when they run out. Changing takes 30 mins per the manual, and that feels very accurate to me. I'm also glad I don't have to buy batteries for these, we already go through enough AA and AAAs in this house. The toy did come with two USB charging cables, which I thought was a really nice touch rather than a single cable and being limited to charging only one at a time. The cables are USB-C too, which you likely already have elsewhere in your household.
