My 5 year old loves this sand!
As my 5 year old was playing with a different brand of sand, a messy-get-all-over-the-house brand, I managed to gracefully dump the entire contents of a quiche I was making on top of it. It was only fair that I hop on Amazon and let him pick out a replacement. This time I was determined to find a sand that wouldn't make me shake my fist at the sky as I vacuumed up remnants for weeks and weeks. And I didn't want to spend more than 20 bucks. He was less picky, mostly in it for the dinosaurs. This set is great. I love that the box also doubles as the play area. He loves all the pieces that came with it and we both love the super cool texture. It is fun to play with and it sticks together really well. It doesn't seem to end up in every crevice of our house and all over him. My only complaint is that it would be fun to have more of the sand in the box, but Santa will probably order some extra sand for Christmas. Oh, and one of the fossil leg bones broke right off the bat, but we drag him out all the time looking for real fossils so he wasn't worried because he knows that fossils can get broken.

still LOVES the sand.
My 5 yr old grandson just loves this sand. No worries about drying out and it’s very moldable. He enjoys the dinosaurs but also puts in his small construction trucks in the box and will play for an hour, that’s amazing! Very few toys will keep his attention for this long in peaceful play. Any sand that falls on our wood floor is swept up easily, and replacement sand is not that expensive. He’s had his cool sand for about a year now and enjoys as much now as a year ago. We just bought another for a birthday gift.

Great for the price, could use more sand
My 2 year old loves this. My only complaint is that it only came with a little bit of sand. This is all the sand after I spread it out a little. He could’ve used double the amount, but he honestly doesn’t care so it’s okay! For the price, it’s a nice toy.

Kept my 3yo daughter entertained for over an hour!
My daughter loses focus fast and flits from toy drawer to toy drawer dumping everything out looking for the perfect thing to play with (truly playing with nothing long). She sat at our kitchen table for over an hour happily burying and digging up the dino bones. The sand is just as nice as the famous brand’s, and the dinosaurs and bones really make the set. I am planning to suplement wih more sand, but this was plenty for her to play with right out of the box. Cleanup isn’t bad at all and was similar to playdoh...gather up what you can and suck up the little bits left.

Perfect!
I'm really happy with this kinetic sand! I've always wanted some, and was so pleased to find this cool dinosaur set! The sand is amazing! It holds it's shape very well, but when you mush it, it comes apart in such a pleasing way. It's like if spiderwebs were liquid. I truly love it. It also does not stick to me at all, it truly only sticks to itself. The box/toy side is as you would expect. I like that the box acts as a sand box, and it's pretty sturdy too, plus I love the little T. Rex stand that goes on the lip. The dinosaur toys are your typical cheap plastic toys made from the same horribly inaccurate molds from the 70/80's, charming in their own way. The molds are really cute! I had fun pressing them and checking out the different shapes. My favorite part was the dinosaur skeleton. Mine was actually a ceratopsid instead of the sauropod pictured, but I'm perfectly happy with that. My one problem, though not a huge problem, is that the sand doesn't fill up the sand box like shown in the picture. You'll want to buy another bag of sand if you want to fill it up. Not a huge deal, didn't really bother me, but I thought I'd point it out so other people would know. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase unless by some miracle it had accurate dinosaurs, but I knew perfectly well it didn't so I'm not counting that against it.

Great product, fun, and engaging.
My 3.5 year old loves this kit. Keeps him busy for at least 1 hour everytime. He loves digging for the bones and making shapes. The only thing is he wishes the bones could be put together to make the dinosaurs skeleton, but other than that, he loves it. I love that it has a nice easy container for the sand to be put in for playing and that everything has it's own bag for organized clean up. Definitely would recommend if your little one loves to play with sand while being engaged finding/making dinosaurs.

Great sand, o.k. Dinosaurs.
The kinetic sand is wonderful. Our grandchildren really enjoyed playing with it and it is so easy to clean up! The little dinosaurs were tiny and cheaply made, I have attached a photo of the larger one arriving crushed and broken. The kit comes with little molds which work ok. I am glad I bought an additional bag of sand because the kits sand does not fill the box. It could use some improvements and become better than what it is.

Absolutely great toy for both kids and adults to enjoy
Absolutely great toy for both kids and adults to enjoy. My daughter and I have played on this sandbox many times always finding new and creative ideas to do. The molds and figures that come with it add a nice touch to the play and the little bones can be used as a treasure hunt. The sand is not messy and usually pretty hassle free to clean up. Every time other little kids come to the house they get caught up with this entertaining set. I have recommended it to both friends and family.
