I bought these as part of a LARP costume. They looked really nice when put on over a pair of shorter leather boots/dress shoes. Really added that fantasy aesthetic. Unfortunately the straps to fasten them around your leg are a bit short and made of a very thing fabric. After a single day of use, running around in a field the metal buckle on one of the straps broke off compromising the security of the gator. I haven’t been able to use them since. I may try replacing the straps with longer, thicker leather and better buckles.

Not for big legs
Cheap material. Breaks very easily. Difficult to put on. Not made for large calves. Felt like it could snap at any moment. Not comfortable on larger legs. Color matches.
