Good fit. Mediocre quality.
Cute dress and good fit for our petite 2.9 year old (she normally wears between 18-24 month clothes up to 2T depending on brand). Giving 3 stars because of quality. Upper "fin" began to tear and unravel within the first 30 minutes of her wearing it and running around. Also there is quite a bit of glitter that comes off easily on every surface she came into contact with.

Poor Quality
We purchased this as a dress up outfit for our daughter so that she could use it regularly when playing. The quality of this product does not hold up for more than a few hours. After about two hours of use some of the material has already begun to tear off. I would say if you're looking for a costume to use for a short one time wear like for trick or treating and then not using it again it would be fine. But for the cost I expected to get more than two hours of use before it began to rip.

Little Mermaid costume!
I bought this for my daughter, for Disney on Ice. She wears 2T, and it does fit a little big, but we just clipped the back straps. It's good quality and she is going to wear it again for Halloween.

Sizes run small. Small velcro circles close the back of the costume but are cheap and do not do a good job of closing the back or keeping it closed. The material around the waist sticks out in a weird way no matter how you try to flatten it out, and it frayed horribly after one wearing forcing me to cut it all off.
