It is cute! I ordered sizes 6-8 please be aware that sizes run small! My kiddo is size 6 right now and it fits him just right if he was 7 or more, it would not fit at all. Zipper doesn't come as low as the picture show. so if there is a dress up in school on Halloween, I recommend to practice the zip up and down ( as it is moving a little hard) and the take off as it is tight a little bit ( at least for my son who is not lean but not chunky either) for bathroom breaks. Since child spent like 3 days in the costume, it got stains ( food, dirt) I had to wash it. It did not shrink, color did not run. I washed it with cold water regular cotton program. Hat is ok but it is baggy in the back as it is held together with elastic. Shield has to be bent if you don't like the flat cheap look. I used a rubber band for couple of days and it did a good job. Overall it is cute and space loving children will truly enjoy it! My kiddo has a very soft spot for Challenger so this is kind of his tribute to those who lost their lives in January of 1986.

My son loves
We ordered this suit as a Halloween costume but will use for imagination play throughout the year. My two year old son loves astronauts, especially seeing them in their orange space suits. The suit was such a great find and well worth the price. This suit fit his slender frame perfectly, almost like it was made specifically for him. Only negatives are that the hat is too big and the edges of the patches have frayed a bit. Overall, we lovev this astronaut suit!

A great alternative to the superhero costumes!
I thought that my 4 year old wouldn't like this costume. He's stuck in a superhero, transformer, lego phase right now. But, his eyes lit up when he saw it and tried it on. He really enjoyed telling people what he was and what astronaut's did overall (he's a talker). I bought a larger size than he needed, but the elastic on the arms and legs made it easy to fold for a smaller child. The construction was fair - the fabric was thin with a lot of strings all over the place, but I just trimmed them. He should be able to play dress up with this costume for the next year, which is all that I ask out of a costume :-).

Cute costume but the hat missed the mark!
We ordered this outfit for my sons preschool graduation because they had to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. The order did arrive quickly and we were pleased with that. First, the color of the costume isn't the orange that is on the picture. It is actually a bright fluorescent orange. That was okay because he liked it and he stood out even more among the doctors and cowboys and cowgirls. The part that was so disappointing was the "hat" that came with the costume. This was the most deformed hat I have ever seen. He could not wear it at all. One side of the bill had way too much material and stuck out really far while the other side didn't. The rest of the hat was distorted as well. It could not be worn and was useless garbage. That was disappointing for our child because all little boys love to wear hats! It was also disappointing for us to have payed for something that couldn't be used. I realize this is more of a manufacturing problem and not really a sellers issue, but when selling items people should be aware and include that in the description. Overall, his outfit was a success and he was cute as a button. I just think others should know exactly what they are getting when they order this astronaut costume.

Fit great on my big 21 month old but I don’t see this fitting him next year even though I BELIEVE it says to 4t. It was thin but it’s was fine for layering since it was very cold when he wore it. The hat was wayyyy to big
