This is a cool outfit. It costs a bit but the quality is good. The waistcoat is properly lined and has a great texture. It's a really a costume if you want to be lazy. 2 items. Instantly recognisable. A talking point and very funny. Easy to put on. My waistcoat only came with a string tie and not a leather one as in the pictures and that was a bit of a faff to lace as the ends had split. That was my only issue with it. Overall I'm happy with it. I went for medium, which was my stated size and it was a good fit. It's down to you whether you're happy paying this amount of money. For me the quality justifies the price. I received this free of charge to review as part of the Vine Programme. Would I spend my own money on it? I would now that I've seen it!

Its a lot of money for what it is however its a lovely and funny cosplay item. I mean who doesnt want to dress as an ogre

A fun and easy fancy dress.
We ordered this thinking it was just the waistcoat, as there were no pictures of the hat, and we wanted it for a Lord of the Rings party. However it came with the bonus of a green wool hat, and we realised that it was intended as a Shrek costume! Good quality, well-stitched waistcoat that looks like leather (though of course it’s not). The hat is also decent quality. We ordered the men’s small which I’d say was true to size, and it was comfortable unlike lots of fancy-dress costumes.

I got this in the vest + hat, because even if you're not dressing as an unbranded cartoon ogre, the vest is also good for a bunch of other costumes too, and oddly enough, it goes really well over a regular grey dress I have. I'm into it. £36 feels a little steep for a vest and a novelty hat, but it's pretty good quality, much better than I was expecting, so I'm okay with it. The pleather is thick and pliable, it's stitched really well and has reinforced eyelets, so you can wear it tight or loose in the front without stretching out the holes. Surprisingly comfy. It smells wicked funky straight out the pack, but I popped it on a hanger and let it air out in the garden for a while and now it's good to go. Also the hat is hilarious, and come winter I'll be wearing it casually.

Nice top
Nice too, solid fit and material. Embroidered hat/ears which are nice but have a weird funny smell to them....had to leave them out for a bit. Not bad overall
