Wiz of Oz Cowardly Lion Costume a Big Hit in Our House!
Our rather tall four-year-old son absolutely adored this Halloween costume and hasn't wanted to put it away since Halloween. The tail is a little long, and we had to pin it up for trick-or-treating, but otherwise, it's a good fit for a tall four-year-old. The "mane" sometimes rubs on his face and he said it is "itchy," but this is a small price to pay for looking in the mirror and looking like a lion! The fabric is quite light, like most Halloween costumes, so we don't expect it to last a long time, but it sure is a great in-the-moment costume!

This costume is so cheap looking in person that I didn't use it. I regret the purchase and had to buy another costume.

The mask/ hat sheds
The mask/ hat piece was borderline unwearable. There wasn't any sort of liner and the interior is very itchy. The faux fur all around the cut edges was falling out like crazy. We ended up having a seamstress add some bias tape around the face opening to make it wearable. other than this the costume was rather unremarkable but served its purpose. You definitely get what you pay for.

My 4 year old and my 2 year old (with legs and arms rolled up many many inches!) both love wearing this lion costume and leaping around the house roaring. It is great fun and a great outlet for them to get some energy released when stuck inside in the winter. It is well made and has held up to their almost daily wearing it for a few hours each.

great costume for the price
Overall a great costume and just what we needed for a school program. It fits great (not too big/small). My only negative is that the fur on the tail and mane seem to come off very easily...I even noticed some that had already fallen off before I opened the package.

poor quality!
poor quality!!! Came away at the seems and the Main Malted everywhere!! if you have a child that suffers from allergies or eczema I would advise on this costume. Although I had these problems when I contacted amazon there service was excellent and refunded my money back. ALWAYS purchase from AMAZON as you can trust them!
