Trust the measurements given, perfect fit & cute costume!
My daughter is 10 and in an in between size with juniors and sometimes women's. Such a frustrating thing to deal with but that's another story for another day lol. I was so worried the fit wouldn't work for her, but I checked reviews and also looked at the size chart and went by it, the costume ended up fitting her perfectly! Easy to put on and take off. The coat and tail do shed, but she and I are not totally unhappy about it because it's a costume, so she will literally wear it once or twice for Halloween events and then will probably use it to play dress up the rest of the year. She also said it kinda adds to the character since werewolves shed anyways haha. The tail attached to the belt is such a cute way to add the tail, and it would be easy to move the tail temporarily to the side or front if a bathroom break is needed, or just remove the belt altogether and then put it back on afterwards since it's velvro. I'm looking forward to an awesome Halloween, thank you for this awesome costume!

It looks just like the picture...
We had to add wire to the ears to make them stand up like she wanted, but it is so pretty and really easy to add to.. We love it and it really turned out real nice..

I had to order my daughter an adult size medium because the children Costume was out of stalk. Good thing I did because it fit just right on my daughter.

Cute
This is a cute costume, but I would recommend purchasing other parts in order to customize the look, as it looks slightly cheap. Ran a little bit small for me so I had to return it unfortunately.
