Great for the price I paid for it ($5 as an add on to my order) - so great for the money. It is thin but I expected that. It is 2 separate pieces which is great for my 4 year old if he has to go potty. The ties are all separate which can be a bit if a pain but I can't complain for the price.

Great costume for Halloween
Our son was thrilled to be a ninja for halloween. This was the first year he's been able to really pick his own costume and this piece did the trick for him. While it was time consuming to put on (for a 5 yr old) once he was dressed he was happy as he could be. The material is a very thin nylon/poly blend, so if you live in a colder climate, (Like us in Minnesota) you will want to layer warm clothes under the costume. If you intend to layer, don't worry about ordering a bigger size; the costume is pretty forgiving and even if it is "bulky" kids will enjoy pretending the bulk are strong ninja muscles. Our son's snow boots fit well under the legs of the costume, too, so ultimately keeping your little person warm while trick or treating (and not spoiling the look of their costume by having to wear a a bunch of outerwear) is fairly easy. our only problem was with the hems unraveling in the hood and the velcro closure coming off entirely which made the hood useless the night we needed it. I was able to fix the issues later, but for the big day, our son had to make due with a rigged mask. Overall, though, it is a pretty good costume for the price. Can't beat it.

Basic costume to turn a kid into a Ninja. I bought a size small - a little big on the 3.5 year old and almost tight on the 5.5 year old (although in both cases it was over their clothes). Decent quality - GREAT quality for the price - I predited a couple years of playtime wear. Although I will have to convince them that Ninjas don't always wear those ties just so I don't have to keep tieing them!

Cheaply made
This costume is very cheaply made. But I got it for $12, so I wasn’t expecting much. The material is thin, the edges look like someone took a pair of scissors and cut. It comes with about 10 sashes that you have to tie on arms, legs etc. the face mask part comes on two pieces, one that just ties over the face. Not impressed, but my 5 year old son seems happy with it. I got him the medium and it is large on him, but I expected that. Not too large that he can’t wear it though.

Cheap all the way around
This is sort of a ninja costume. Mostly it's a super thin piece of fabric that should probably cost a dollar at the dollar store. If I spent a dollar on this, I'd still feel ripped off. It's lame. It's thin. It makes your kid look like you made it for them and have no skills whatsoever. Find something better and have a more enjoyable Halloween with a happy kid.

Another great costume! Material is exactly what you'd expect, the thin silky cloth. It didn't have any stray threads or rips, and the hood was well made. The separate red ties were a pain as a parent but my son loved the added something special.

Cheap and thin
This is one of those super cheapy costumes made out of that thin, shiny material. On the one hand, the price at the moment is great and makes it a better deal - 12 dollars - but I think I paid more for it. What I really don't like is that the head part - the most important part - is actually two pieces. One is a kind of a hood,which is fine and stays on, but the part that covers the face is just a piece of material, like a scarf, and it has to be somehow tied at the back of the head to keep it on. But it doesn't stay on. A few stitches would have solved that problem, and I guess I could do that myself, but it's still annoying. The rest of the costume is fine other than just being really cheap. It looks pretty much like in the picture. It doesn't come with a sword, though, which was disappointing for my 4 year old (even though I told him it didn't and he already has other swords). Overall it's OK if you pay the cheap price, but it's nothing great.

Great - shame there's no adult size!
It's a little too small for me but the medium size fits an average six year old child perfectly well. He loves it - in fact it was his favourite present on Christmas day. The only problem was dealing with the eventual irritation factor of having an assassin laying in wait and ready to ambush me at *any* moment. It's a actually a great example of well designed and inexpensive fancy dress - aside from the sword (which is not included and costs extra and except of course for the shoes) the outfit does look exactly like the picture shows. The red ribbons take a bit of practice to tie and I can't get them to look as good as they do in the picture but that is definitely down to my own knot tying skills. The stitching is nice and whilst the material isn't premium polyester (if there is such a thing) it isn't thin and easy rip material either - it has already survived a number of close combat jiu-jitsu wrestling matches. Would definitely buy it again and just wish I had found it sooner.
