Really rough and itchy, but substantial and well-made
This is well made and all the pieces are included. But all the fabric is so rough and itchy. Although it's not sheer, I couldn't imagine wearing it without a full pioneer nightdress-type garment underneath to keep the fabric away from my skin. If that doesn't concern you, then otherwise this is a high quality well-made costume. The cape is sewn to the gown, but the head veil is separate. The belt is elastic and has two snaps. I'm just so disappointed in the feel of the fabric. It's already heavy and warm, so wearing something substantial underneath in addition would be too much. But maybe you're a cold person, or your skin isn't as sensitive, in which case- I would recommend this as a great costume.
