Bought my 11 year old daughter a size XL and it was a perfect fit. The dress was pretty comfy and the detachable skirt was ideal so that she could remove it at school after the costume contest. I did have to glue one of the wings back onto its center join point because it detached the first time she wore it but it hot-glued together very easily. The gloves were a bit small (and she has average sized hands) so she ended up not wearing them. Some reflective trim on the waistband and/or wings would have been a nice addition for visibility.

Poor Quality Not Worth The Price
Do Not Buy This! This is the worst quality in a costume I've ever seen. I paid 46$ for this!? Thats way over priced. It looks very cute in the picture but when we received it it is so so thin that the dress is literally see threw and the fabric looks like it will probably rip thats how thin it is, also the cutest part of it is the sparkly part and it's not even attached to the dress when I had my daughter try it on this part was way too small even though the dress itself fits her? After trying it on we decided to look for a new costume for her but since it's so close to Halloween there isn't many options in stores so today I will check Halloween spirit but if I don't find one then she will have to wear her costume from last year.
