I recently purchased the Cra-Z-Art Washable Watercolor 8 Color Paint Sets in bulk for an all-girls free art group I’m starting, and I’m thrilled with my decision. The bulk pack includes 36 kits, which is perfect for providing each girl with her own set of watercolors. This ensures no one has to share and makes it easy for each participant to have their own supplies. The pack offers excellent value for money, especially for larger groups or classrooms. Each kit comes with eight vibrant watercolor colors and a paintbrush. The watercolors are easy to use and clean up nicely, which is ideal for a group setting. Good colours, mediocre paintbrush
Each palette comes in it's own reusable hard case complete with paintbrush and room for mixing on the clear top cover. The paint colours are vibrant, pick up easily, and wash out perfectly. Washable paints like these are one of the greatest inventions in the world! The paintbrushes included are mediocre, but not really different in quality than any decent brand out there. If you're looking for the best experience for your kids, you can easily find a multipack of decent brushes that aren't made from hard plastic from one of the major craft brands for a few dollars. I'd recommend that upgrade to anyone. Otherwise, great paints!

Great for kids projects
This is a crazy long review for such a small, everyday object but when working with groups you need to know and trust your materials and equipment. ???? These paint sets will be perfect for group paint projects. I tested the paints on several different types/grades paper on both wet paper and dry paper to check for color saturation. (See photo for results) Most important to project leaders and parents - I also tested the washable claim. The paints easily washed off my hands when I used a washcloth along with soap and warm water and off of a piece of TShirt in a washing machine on cotton cycle The brush is as expected, but with gentle use should last as long as the paints. The amount of paint one of the little indents (I used orange) covered 1 1/2 sheets of printer paper before the bottom of the tray was visible. After covering 2 entire sheets there was still enough paint left in the indent to cover at least one more sheet entire sheet of 9” x 11”paper. The only con, for me, was the fact that I was not able to pop the individual paint cakes out of the tray without them crumbling. When working with kids sometimes you just need to get the brown and black paint out of there - if not, you inevitability end up with a tray of mud colored paints,lol. Sometimes when working with color families, you want the kids to have just those colors available. Luckily, the trays are made of a thin plastic that can be cut easily using regular classroom scissors.

Exactly as described
This was a great option for our pre-k hallway to have some extra access to watercolors without breaking the bank. Pre-K goes through them so quickly that it was nice to find an inexpensive pack. The colors are okay, the kids don't care much about that. They just love exploring how paint works and making their mark. We've enjoyed this!

Great for family art days
We buy paints like this not for school but for family art days. We try to make sure everyone gets together a couple times per month during the summer especially and we have a big art time with the kids. So we end up with around 12 people each time having a paint party outside. Which makes these little sets perfect for us. Each set has 8 colors and a brush. The sets can be closed up and saved for later (we dry the paint of any excess water then store them away). The bulk set comes in at 50$ currently though it was a few less when we got it a couple months ago. We've made it to the end of summer and we've only depleted 14 of our 36 which means for that price we got a summer of activities and have plenty to keep doing art time next summer using the same set. In a classroom it won't last as long but still a good deal at the price. The colors are what you expect for kids paint and you're not going to be making museum level pieces but you shouldn't expect that. For what they are offering the colors are bright enough, saturated enough, and were easy to use. Overall we've enjoyed the set and will again next year.

Great for kids - good value for large box!
This is pretty much the same type of paint that multiple generations have grown up with. A variety of 8 colored paints and a small brush held within. The rest is up to the imagination and steady hand of the kids! We found this paint worked well - though you do need to experiment a bit with the amount of water to add to get the right shade of color you're looking for. These are Made in China, and given that 36 come in a box, the $43 dollar price (at time of review) is a good deal...but the listed MSRP (80 bucks) wouldn't really be any kind of bulk discount at all. We did notice that the brushes can fray a little easily if you're painting with the "broad" side of the brush, but that's not a huge deal for us. Overall - good value on a classroom sized pack of personal water paints!
