Good sturdy tow float.
This is the first tow float I've used so I don't have anything to compare it to. I swim in the sea all year round, usually alone, and I thought this would give me an extra layer of visibilty/security. I tried it in the sea today and it felt a little odd at first but I soon got used to it. The float is made of thick quality pvc that will be pretty robust. It doubles as a dry bag but I haven't tested it in that respect as I swim in a pretty isolated area where I don't need to take any valuables into the water with me. It inflates in just a few breaths and you then screw the valve closed. It even has a carry handle. The one thing I'd caution is if you are on the bigger side, the waist strap may not fit. I am a UK size 16 and as I didn't want the belt too tight it was at pretty much the maximum size it would adjust to on me. I couldn't see what size it claimed to fit up to in the listing. As for value, it is certainly not the cheapest tow float but not all of them are also dry bags and cheaper ones may well be made of thinner less durable plastic.

Durable, easy-to-spot swim buoy with useful storage
This buoy is designed for swimmers who want both visibility and function while in the open water. The material feels sturdy and thick, more like a premium dry bag than a thin float, and the bright color makes it easy to spot even from a long distance, which you want when using it in the ocean, lakes, or open-water training. It’s built from durable PVC that holds up well to saltwater exposure and regular use without fading or softening. I’ve had a few Cressi items before, and this one does not disappoint in terms of quality and design. Inflation takes only a few short breaths, and the valve seals tightly with no air loss during long swims. Once inflated, it clips comfortably around the waist and stays secure without restricting movement or dragging in the water. It’s surprisingly lightweight and doesn’t feel like a burden to tow, even on longer swims. The dry bag part of it is large enough to hold keys, a phone in a waterproof case, or small essentials, making it practical for those who prefer to keep valuables close. It deflates easily and folds flat for packing, which is convenient for travel or regular training. It doesn’t come with a repair kit, but given the durable construction, that’s a minor drawback. Price-wise, it's not expensive at all for anyone who spends time on the water, as it’s multi-functional and versatile as a dry bag, buoy, and safety device all in one.

Impressive Quality Swim Buoy
Extremely good quality from Cressi as always. The swim buoy is well made, the pvc feels durable and gives me confidence that it will last. Easy to inflate and deflate. Once the belt is fastened and I was swimming with it, it didn't drag at all, felt comfortable using. No sign of deflation after use. The dry pocket was handy for storing my phone and car keys safely, though I did keep them in a waterproof floating case just incase, but there were no issues with water getting in.

Works well and easy to use
I haven't used one of these before, but as I occasionally swim/snorkel on my own, it does hurt having this for a little extra safety. It blows up and deflates pretty easily using the little nozzle on the side. Easy to inflate in 30 seconds or less, and then screws closed to stay secure. The dry bag section is smaller than I had thought, and rolling it up to form a proper seal you'd lose a lot of that space. But since it's for swimming and you probably wouldn't have many things with you, it would at least hold keys or other small items securely. And would fit a phone and similar sized items, but may not be fully watertight - so probably best to get some little drysacs for additional protection. Overall it's nice and bright, works well and will help keep you a little more visible (and probably help you float in emergencies). So while maybe on the high end for what it actually is, overall it's probably worth it for that extra safety.

Just as Expected
This buoy is exactly as described. It is bright-colored, very easy to inflate, and has an easy to use waist strap. It also has an internal pocket for storage. I didn’t think of this at first but realized when trying it out that by placing a cellphone or other trackable device in the pocket, it can be used to keep an eye on your swimmer/boater even when they are not in direct line of sight. And unlike smaller dry bags that are not also intended to float as a buoy, this is a safer way to bring along valuables without worrying about their sinking in the water. It’s also larger than I imagined it, as shown in my first photo where it’s hanging on a standard chair for size reference. And the clasp closure is very easy to open and close, and to reach without searching, as shown in the second photo. This is an excellent value for the listed price on Amazon.
