Fabulous Flying Distraction for Helicopter and Gadget Aficionados
Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Well designed beginner remote controlled helicopter. Excellent starter choice. Easy to control indoors and even a beginner or new pilot can have it flying in circles and 8 formations in a medium or modest sized living room. The lights are also very impressive, and will make, flying night missions a fun alternative game or competition at parties! For the size of this, the battery capacity is also quite reasonable. These small flying toys rarely fly for more than 5 mins at a time, but I had this flying for 10 mins, and it was still not giving warnings or deteriorating on terms of flight characteristics. This could be down to a modern, efficient controller board. The only things I will mention as possible improvements or options; there is no banking to the sides. This does make it simpler/easier to fly, but takes some of the sweeping, banking manoeuvres out of your repertoire.... But given it is aimed at beginners; I think this is an acceptable omission. One other option which would add a coolness factor, is if one could switch to a stealth mode, where only the main front spotlight and maybe some other realistic locator light is on, to indicate the back or left and right sides, so that all the other flashing lights aren't flashing on and off. I think that would make it feel a little more serious, after the initial playing, and would engage the user's interest for longer. It could be a jumper clip on the helicopter, so just an option that can be toggled by advanced users.... Maybe that's just me getting carried away by it, but honestly - such a cool toy! (Check out my one handed night flight mission video ????????) Well priced for the quality too, and comes with a set of spare propeller blades, incase of a serious collision with a hard wall or other obstacle.

Better than expected
I was impressed that it connects easily and does actually fly. It’s relatively easy to control although can slant to left or right (but there are buttons to counteract this). It looks good with LEDs on the tail. Good for shirt bursts of fun for adults - have to be careful for kids to stay out of the way of the blades.

Great little gadget
How I wish toys like this had been around when I was a kid - back then you needed an RC licence from the Home Office and all I could afford was an ugly van which really didn't do much at all. This little helicopter is a doddle to fly; the best part is that it has a start up button which will raise it (nearly) vertically and put it into an auto hover about 4 feet up, so you can learn without the risk of immediately hitting the wrong control and piloting the thing straight into Auntie Enid's crystal vase on Christmas morning. You can then fine tune to prevent rotation and drift, before setting off on your proper piloting adventure. The contra-rotating rotor blades do away with the need for a tail rotor, and they fold automatically so if you hit something neither that nor the helicopter should suffer too much damage; a couple of spare blades are included. The LED lights are a fun touch, and do make it easier to keep track of the helicopter in low light. This is the fourth mini RC helicopter I've reviewed and they're all great but they all have pluses and minuses. My most common complaint is that when the toy has removable rechargeable batteries they are a real fiddle to swap out, usually needing a screwdriver - but they do come with the advantage of allowing you to have a spare with you for extended flight times. This one has an inbuilt USBC rechargeable battery, which is hugely convenient - but as it's inbuilt, when it's flat it's flat and playtime is over. With an advertised flight time of just 13-15 minutes and a recharge time of 45 minutes, you'll need to prepare little Eustace or Euphemia for that to avoid tantrums and tears. The remote controller requires 3 x AAA batteries, which aren't supplied, which is also a niggle of mine; I'd much rather a rechargeable handset, too. Still, you can't have everything for just £22.99. So: definitely recommended, but consider whether you'd prefer the convenience of extra swappable battery packs over that of USBC recharging. The choice is yours!

Easy to control, spare blades and battery lasts for a good while
I gave this remote control helicopter a good try out. It comes with spares blades, the helicopter itself is rechargeable via a USB c and the battery life is pretty good. The remote control requires 3 x AAA batteries that are not supplied. I found the helicopter pretty simple to control, it only took me a minute or less to get the hang of it. The trim buttons work quite well, although it does hover fairly well, it will slightly move left or right and this cant be trimmed out, you can trim out it turning. It has leds under the along the tail that you can turn off or keep on with a firm touch of the top left shoulder button on the remote. You take off by pressing the right should button. Then the left stick controls the power and the right the turning and forward and reverse. I tried it in my living room and I was pretty impressed. Its a fun toy for a child, though probably an older one of 8 onwards, I think younger children will struggle to control it. It also seems well built and pretty unbreakable, fo pr minor hits.

Great bit of fun
These style of RC helicopters have been around for years but this version competes with the previous years premium options at a much lower affordable price. Flying is easy to pick up and stable once airborne. It's relatively loud but so is any helicopter. Battery lasts a good while but you don't want to go multiple sessions without a charge - keep it charged after you use it for 100% uptime.
