Great set for my son's visual sensory needs!
This set is exactly perfect for my son. Not a special needs activity, however, for my autistic son this is awesome. For years people haven't been able to give me many answers to his marking up walls, furniture, carpets, other people' home work, important paper work...you get the idea-- this kid marks up anything and then throws it away- expect the things that are attached to the house or furniture ;) ... No one had answers on why he does this, what I should do about it, how to stop it. We were given a few ideas to help move it to an appropriate place- his own paper. Over the last few years he has ruined less furniture and walls (and homework) but still really loves marking and watching us write...visual! Cue this great set. I wish they were made from a firmer rubber instead of foamy-like rubber (you know like those foam stickers??)...its going to take one bad mood and he'll start ripping them apart (fingers crossed that wont happen!), but for now he loves it. He wanted it open right away Christmas morning. He painted a great picture, then ripped it and threw it away...point is, they worked great, satisfied his visual sensory need and were easy for me to clean! All pluses for me! I say all of this because there *might* be a mom out there with a kid like mine- autistic/"differently abled" or not, who just likes to mark. People (including teachers/OT/ABA, etc) might act they have never seen a kid so obsessed with marking things up, telling you they haven't figured him/her out yet. But you aren't alone and you should get this paint set! :)

Great gift idea
I bought this set for my grandson for his third birthday. I also bought more easel paper and additional paints. I like the variety of the brushes. Paint is really very cheap and a great way for children to express their creativity. He loved the set and generated beautiful pictures that day. I like the storage/travel bag. Fun for visiting with friends who also have easels to be able to bring your own brushes and paint. This was much better than some "fad" toy that will sit in the closet. I am very happy with the purchase. Bringing extra paints is an inexpensive way to bring "a little something" when grandma comes to visit.

My daughter loved this set!
Purchased as a Christmas gift for our daughter. I loved everything about this set. The variety of brushes was nice and they are easy to hold and feel like good quality. The paint came in all of the main colors and you could mix colors to create any unique colors. We loved the palette and it’s ability to hold lots of different colors. It’s nice that it includes a reusable case and paper to get you started. Overall we love this kit and I would happily buy again!

excellent choice for budding artists
If you have a child who like to experiment with various textures this is a great product. The brushes are easy to clean and work well with finger paints if you do not want to be limited to the provided paint. The brushes can be used by kids as young as one. Great fun for kids of all ages

Paint kit
This little paint kit is nice but mind you it is very small. My 4 year grandson has been having fun with it, first time learning how to mix paint colors. I do love the fact when done using I can store every thing back in the storage bag, till the next time, and it does not take up a lot of room!

nice kit for little kids!
I will admit that I might have bought this set a little early as my nephew is still a toddler. But even toddlers like having fun with paint! I am very impressed with the amount of extra little brushes and tools that are included in this kit. Until he can use them, I am sure he can use the paints for finger painting as long as he is watched very carefully by his parents and they are very good with that anyways. I had it dropped shipped to my sister to ensure that the kit was there in time for Christmas and it was. So that makes me extra happy. I would order from this seller again!

Great for my 2 year old!
My 2 year old enjoys this paint set. Colors look good on paper. Brushes work well enough for her to enjoy painting. My only call out is the travel bag- the opening is not wide enough to pull everything out smoothly (see pic). Not a big deal, you can pull out with a few tugs.

Ok Set but Nothing Special
The paint and paintbrushes in the set are good quality so I was happy with that. But, I was disappointed by the size of some of the items. The included paper is way too small - its the size of a 5 x 7 photo. The palette is also really tiny and cheaply made. I also purchased the KindredSity kids paint set and would recommended that one over the Faber-Castell. The paper is much larger, 8.5 x 11, and you get way more paint. Overall, this is an ok set but don't think I would repurchase this one.
