Ottimo attrezzo
Ottimo attrezzo per tracciare direttamente col lapis, senza punte, puntine o quanto altro. Arriva ben confezionato oliato (forse un po' troppo), ma perfetto. Io avevo proprio tutto, vite compresa.

Prodotto incompleto e inutilizzabile
Appena ricevuto il prodotto, prima ancora di aprire la confezione, ho notato la mancanza della vite che dovrebbe bloccare la matita in sede. E' un particolare che salta subito all'occhio e dovrebbe essere notato anche da chi confeziona il prodotto e anche da chi lo spedisce. E' segno della scarsissima attenzione e cura di chi produce questo articolo..!! Non dico Amazon (che commercializza e spedisce in maniera automatizzata la merce), ma il produttore "Faithfull" che non merita certamente alcun apprezzamento per la scarsissima cura ed attenzione per i suoi prodotti. Pubblicizza % anni di garanzia e consegna un prodotto già inutilizzabile alla consegna, vergogna..!!!

Well Made and Solid
Firstly, I did read the other reviews first - always nice to find out what others think - and in general I would agree with most that is said. These are well made compass dividers that have a decent heft to them and should last forever if treated well. I also agree that finishing isn't mirror like, but to be honest it's pretty good. Maybe a bit of fine abrasive to take the corners off might appeal to some, but for me - I'll use them as is. Now where I differ is in the origin. I note that some say that these are made in Britain or England but I don't think so. Faithful have a base in England but there is nothing to suggest on the packaging or actual tool that these are anything other than made overseas. Probably the Far East. Faithful basically brand market what they sell and I doubt if the produce much or anything at all. I also went onto their website and they studiously avoid mentioning anything to do with manufacturing. My experience of a tool maker that manufacturers in the UK is that they make damn well sure we know about it, appealing to the old school craftsmen idea. Another thing I do slightly disagree with is the belief that hand tools made in England in days of yore were somehow superior. I have a fair few old tools of varying standards that I've inherited from passed on forebears one of which, my grandfather was a professional toolmaker. Truth is, the old English tools were fine for the time but modern manufacturing produces better stuff. Today an engineer will simply design something on a computer using CAD and email it to a manufacturer who could be anywhere in the world. The concept is brilliant and we get the benefits of cheap well made gear. Which this is. Despite being reasonably priced, it is better made than the one my grandfather had which was made in the UK and will last as long as anything made in earlier days. Finish is better too. In use they are smooth and have enough heft to make secure operation easy. the knurled retaining nut is easy on the fingers and grips well. The action is tight enough to hold the angle well. So you get a lot of bang for your buck, but if you think you are getting a craftsman made British product then I think not.

Faithfull Compas porte-crayon 200 mm
Produit conforme et d'excellente qualité. Compas avec une fabrication et finitions sans reproche. Emballé bien huilé, pas de risque de rouille. Un grand crayon passe sans soucis (contrairement à d'autres marques). Le compagnon parfait pour le travail de menuiserie. Une bonne affaire avec sont tarif serré (actuellement 20.41€).

I am very happy with this tool so far. I have had it for a couple of months now and use it frequently. The fact that the pencil barrel is angled back toward the divider point allows for close scribing. The fact that it is made of sti I steel means that it won't become a twisted mess in my nail bag.

Es muy robusto y las piezas de apriete y fijación son muy sólidas, lo recomiendo he tenido otros modelos y este es con diferencia el más práctico
