Arrived super quick
Bought this as a gift for my Dad as he LOVES Metal Earth kits. As usual, quality is on par and the entire thing is just a cool bit of history. It's to the point now where finding a kit he doesn't have is becoming more challenging, but lucky for me he didn't have this!

Looks great once done...
This was the first time I built one of these metal models...it was harder than I thought it would be. Had to get out a jewlers visor, various types of small High-end tweezers/cutters/miniture pliers, model paint brush handles to roll/form the metal, and a desk lamp. Took 2 days, but looks great once finished. Really nice paint/coating/details on this model...

I have made a few of these models and this one is very difficult to assemble. Had a chance to see one in action at an air show. Impressive to say the least.

Not easy to bend these parts
Not very easy to bend the parts right without the right tools so I never finished it, not for beginners. Every part was accounted for, on time, clear instructions, not easy to bend pieces, but was good quality.

Way to hard
This is very difficult to do for the average person. I ended up tossing it in the garbage out of frustration

Very satisfying.
I love these models, I have built over 30, from lighthouses to bulldozers. A few tools are a must, flush cutting wire cutters to remove the parts from the sheet. Smooth jawed needle nose pliers. I use a set of drill bits, using the smooth shank portion to help form the round or cylinder shaped pieces.

A fine model
This is a well made, detailed small model. It is, however, not a child's toy. An experienced craftsman will be gratified by the results. Care and patience will be required.

Not for first-timers, bad impulse buy
This isn't a toy, it's not for kids, and it's not for many adults either. I thought the pieces would just pop out of the metal but they didn't so I bought the special wire trimmers to get them out. I'm sure the methods for twisting the metal tabs to get them to stay locked and for getting those connections to stay firm are completely obvious to everyone who left a 5 star review but no photos. I've put together model rockets, trains, legos, etc. This is by far the least satisfying build I've ever done. It's an ugly saggy mess and I wish I hadn't picked an aircraft I actually like, because now I'll be reminded of this kit. I'm giving it three stars because the parts are spectacularly painted and laser etched out of the metal. They stood up to some abuse. Obviously Metal Earth know their steel.

Good looking model, wings are hard to get right
Not an easy model. In the end you need to connect all things in one narrow location and watch out for the wheel. When you start assembly keep in mind tail fins have front and back (see front photo, the instruction is not clear). Wings are my nemesis. Premium models had no issues with wings.

Not what was expected had to return
Not what we were expecting. Could not give as a gift. It was returned by us the next day for something more suitable. Too flimsy

Précision de joalier requise
La qualité est au rendez vous, précision du découpage et peinture mais extrêmement dificile a monté, après une heure d essaie pour plier et assemblé 2 pièces ensemble.. expédié via la poubelle!
