Dank dem Händler
Feinste Fotoätztechnik, die ich schon am Modell der Tower Bridge des gleichen Herstellers bewundern durfte. Die Feinheit eines so kleinen Modells (Maßstab 1:1410) kann von anderen Materialien nicht erreicht werden. Hervorheben möchte ich aber auch das Fingerspitzengefühl und die Kulanz des Verkäufers bei einem Lieferproblem, das er nicht zu vertreten hatte; Warenschulden sind schließlich Hohlschulden, so habe ich es vor gefühlten Ewigkeiten gelernt. Er hätte es mein Problem sein lassen können, hat er aber nicht. Dafür vielen Dank!

Wunderbar
Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Nicht für Anfänger. Man sollte den Aufsteller zuerst basteln dann kann man das Schiff immer zwischendurch abstellen. Als Tipp empfehle ich für Metal Earth immer eine Lupenbrille zu nutzen.

Segel eine Fisselarbeit aber gutes Ergebnis
Ich habe schon viele dieser Metal Earth Teile gebaut und es macht immer wieder spaß sich damit zu beschäftigen. Meiner Meinung nach benötigt man keine speziellen Werkzeuge, eine Pinzette, Nagelschere und kleine Zange haben bisher immer gereicht. Am Besten versucht man die Bauteile aber aus der Schablone zu drehen oder zu biegen, weil bei einem Abschneiden mit Nagelschere oder Zange bleiben immer kleine unschöne spitze Kanten zurück. Das Ergebnis hängt immer vom eigenen Geschick und Geduld ab und hat mit dem Produkt nichts zu tun. Manchmal könnten aber einige Teile weniger Befestigungen haben, sodass sie leichter aus der Schablone zu bekommen sind. Also ich bin begeistert und die teilweise schön detailierten Modelle machen Spass anzuschauen.

Schöne Idee, Umsetzung ungenügend.
Von der ersten Optik her sehr schön. Aber leider sind die Befestigungspunkte zum umbiegen viel zu klein. Außerdem wurde schlecht geschnitten, weswegen die Takelage nicht ineinander passt. Modellbau Erfahrung vorhanden und Anleitung wurde ausführlich studiert. Leider keine Kaufempfehlung :/

sehr präzises und detailreiches Modell wo ich sehr zu einem guten Pinzetten und Zangenset raten kann sonst wirds kompliziert Die Anleitung hat mehrere Fehler daher erst die Decks bauen und dann das drumherum sonst kommt man nicht mehr richtig an die Laschen

Es ist nicht das erste Metall-Puzzle was ich zusammengesetzt habe. Es sieht kniffliger aus als es ist. Es hat sich total gelohnt es zu kaufen, denn das Ergebnis ist schön anzusehen. Mir ist zwar ein kleines Stück gebrochen, aber mit ein wenig Sekundenkleber hält es trotzdem.

I've put together more than 50 metal earth models and love every one of them. Many times you can find a set of multiple models for a much lower individual price. Some are just harder than others. A few considered "easy" on metal earths web site have been harder than ones considered "challenging" or "expert". I like the harder ones. Spending $7 to $10 on a model that I put together in less than 20 minutes sucks. Having the proper tools is a must. A pair of small wire cutters (I purchased the Hakko CHP-170 for less than $5), a small pair of pliers or two (I purchased at Hobby Lobby in the jewelry section), a set of small electronic/watch repair screwdrivers (to bend the tabs or to take apart when I mess up), and since my eyes are not what they used to be, a head magnifier or cheap reading glasses you can get at any dollar store. I search around the house for things that may help. Round pencils, small wood dowel, markers of different sizes, anything that fits the shape I need. Many of the pieces in the models are very small, and the tabs to be bent or twisted are hard to get to or manipulate. But isn't that the idea of a model? With all Metal Earth models, take your time and if something doesn't seem to fit then stop, backtrack, and look and see if you missed something or have a wrong piece in the wrong place. The instructions are easy to read, but on the more than 50 models I have put together only 2 or 3 have had an error in the instructions. I have learned that if you come to a spot in the instructions that is hard to understand then slightly twist the tabs. This allows for a much easier time taking apart. You can then bend or twist the tabs when you know it is correct. The tabs can be bent several times before they break (I can't seem to put together any of them without messing up and having to take a piece or two off to correct).

Fantastico
Per gli amanti del modellismo statico. Per il montaggio occorono strumenti di precisione quali pinzette o forbicine...ma soprattutto tanta pazienza! Il risultato ripaga, sono soddisfatto e sicuramente comprerò qualche altro modellino da costruire. Le istruzioni qualche volta non sono chiarissime devo ammettere, ma con un po' di intuito si arriva alla soluzione.
