Excellent Hen Puppet
I recently purchased this puppet, it being my first Folkmanis puppet. Overall, I have been very happy with the hen. The material she is made of is very soft and realistic looking, much like in the pictures. Since her wings as well as her neck and beak can move, there is a lot of play value with this puppet, more than a lot of other animal puppets. I have had a lot of fun entertaining people with her antics. A great product for children as well of adults. While the price may seem a bit high (note this puppet is a bit higher than many other Folkmanis animal puppets), this puppet is definitely worth it. the quality of the materials and the extra complexity of this design (such as having wings that can be moved) account for that. If this puppet appeals to you, I highly recommend purchasing it. It has impressed me so much that I will be buying more Folkmanis puppets in the future. The only negative comment I have is she hasn't laid any eggs yet. I was hoping that she would provide a sufficient number of eggs so I would no longer have to buy them at the grocery store. So far this has not happened. I will update this review if or when she starts laying.
