Un servomotore si scalda e non funziona. Rimasto bloccato. Proprio made in china anni 90. Qualità scarsa!!! Sconsiglio assolutamente.

excellent Quality Kit
Impossibile caricare il contenuto multimediale. This is an excellent quality kit that I enjoyed building, the tutorial combined with the videos covered all aspects of programming and constructing the robot. The Raspberry Pi is not included with the kit and I used a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ which needed to be updated to the current Raspberry Pi operating system “bullseye” then the Freenove software can be installed, the tutorial shows how to do this. The batteries I purchased from Fogstar, the link to this supplier is in the about battery pdf provided in the Freenove documentation, the batteries were dispatched the same day I ordered them and they arrived in 3 days. When I had completed the construction, once the Server program was running on the Raspberry Pi I had no problems controlling the robot by using the Client software on Windows or the app on my Android phone.

Excellent support
My skills being what they are, the hexapod did not behave as expected after I was done assembling it. So, I called for help. Customer service answered my e-mails in less than a day and was able to identify the problem based on a short video I sent them. Now everything works perfectly! The robot is a lot of fun to play with. I absolutely recommend this product without reservation.

Tolles Einsteigerprodukt in die Welt der Roboter für Bastler
Als alter Nerd (ja, leider schon wirklich alt) und Programmierer wollte ich mir schon lange einen Roboter als Spielzeug für Erwachsene kaufen. Da ich noch ein paar Raspberry Pi 3B+ herumliegen hatte und mir das Design zugesagt hat, habe ich mich für die Spinne entschieden. Außerdem wollte ich unbedingt wissen, wie man so ein Teil in Python programmiert und das natürlich auch gleich testen. Ihr braucht zusätzlich zu dem Teil noch einen Raspberry Pi, eine Speicherkarte, 4 Akkus und ein Ladegerät. Das Paket enthält gefühlt 1000 Teile, und da übertreibe ich jetzt nicht. Euch bleiben am Schluss mindestens 500 Teile übrig. Viele Plastikteile, Schrauben, Halterungen usw. sind doppelt und dreifach enthalten. Beim Auspacken fragte ich mich: “Oh Mann, ob du das Ding zusammengebaut und zum Laufen bringst?” Aber es war dann halb so wild. Man muss beim Zusammenbau sowohl das PDF-Tutorial als auch das Video auf YouTube zu Rate ziehen. Manche Schritte sind nicht im Tutorial, aber im Video erklärt, und umgekehrt. Man sollte schon ein wenig Erfahrung in der Linux-Welt bzw. Raspberry-Welt und mit Python mitbringen. Der Zusammenbau und die Softwareinstallation waren bei mir in etwa 10 Stunden erledigt. Die vielen (kleinen) Schrauben und meine großen Hände waren dabei nicht gerade hilfreich, aber dafür kann das Produkt nichts. Nach ein paar Problemen mit der VNC-Verbindung und den üblichen Problemchen mit Python erwachte das Teil auch schon zum Leben. Was ein wenig dürftig ist, ist die Dokumentation, wenn man eigenen Code erstellen will – es gibt nicht wirklich eine. Das finde ich ein wenig schade, da das Ding wirklich viele Funktionen mitbringt. Da heißt es halt: ausprobieren! Aber dafür kauft man sich ja schließlich so ein Teil. Mich hat gewundert, dass wirklich alle Funktionen – also Gesichtserkennung, generell die Kamera, LEDs, Abstandsmessung usw. – auf Anhieb funktioniert haben. Die enthaltene Software erfüllt ihren Zweck und ist selbsterklärend. Schade, dass es keine App fürs iPad gibt. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass ein Servo-Motor defekt ist. Ich hoffe, ich bekomme den ersetzt, sonst muss ich mir so ein Teil irgendwo besorgen. Ich bin definitiv auf den Geschack gekommen und das ist sicherlich nicht mein letzter Roboter.

Je voulais découvrir les dessous de la robotique, ce kit m'a permis de le faire de façon magistrale
Kit très technique autant mécaniquement qu'informatiquement. Le tutoriel est très bien fait avec en plus des lien sur des vidéos pour avoir un visuel des étapes d'assemblage. Il faut commander 4 batteries Li-Ion 18650 qui ne sont pas fournies dans le kit et avoir un chargeur adapté à ce type de batterie. J'ai un SkyRC MC3000. J'avais avant de commencer de bonnes connaissances informatiques (linux, raspberry, programmation) mais le tutoriel très bien fait explique vraiment toutes les étapes pour parvenir au but et le résultat est impressionnant. Une araignée énorme dans la maison...!!!

Tiene una barbaridad de servos, montones de sensores y piezas que montar. El sueño de cualquier maker. El código que tienen asociado es muy bueno y el servicio de consultas por email es mas que premium, te contestan a las dudas . Aprendes un montón de Raspberry sin saber nada antes
