Fun STEM toy that inspires creativity!
The Gecko Run is fun spin on marble runs. Instead of building towers, kids stick pieces to flat surfaces, link a window or the fridge, to build their marble runs. I recommend opening the box up with the kids, but then taking care of assembling the various pieces yourself before calling them back over when you've got everything assembled. The launcher in particular is a piece you'll want to put together without little hands grabbing at unfinished pieces. Assembly is very easy thanks to the included instruction with pictures. It doesn't use magnets, but instead reusable stickers. Unlike most stickers, they don't immediately lose their strength and can be stuck and unstuck over and over again. There are more than enough stickers for each of the pieces. The stickers are really cool. They're strong, but also very easy to remove from surfaces, and didn't leave any residue on our window. There's a lot of variety in the pieces and my daughter had a fun time switching things in and out as she designed her marble run. There's a lot of value for the money here - it's a complete set with many different types of pieces, plenty of track, and a good number of marbles. I may end up buying more of these as Christmas gifts for my nieces.

Fun Educational Toy!
This marble run set has quickly become a favorite in our house! The flexible tracks are easy for kids to set up on windows and walls, and the best part is they don’t leave behind any sticky mess or damage, just peel and reposition as needed. Be sure to follow instructions prior to actual play! If you put certain things together a wrong way, you won't be able to undo it without breaking it! What really sets this apart are the challenge cards. They turn regular play into a fun design competition, encouraging kids to think outside the box and problem-solve like little engineers. It’s more than just building. It’s a brain workout disguised as fun! The pieces are sturdy and feel like they’ll hold up well over time. Whether kids are playing on their own or working together with siblings or friends, there’s a ton of creative play packed into this set. Ours are always trying to top their last design or tackle a new challenge. It’s the perfect mix of STEM learning and hands-on fun, and best of all, it’s completely screen free. If you're looking for a toy that keeps kids entertained and thinking critically, this one's a winner! The size is wonderful for little hands, and it functions as promised. There are no missing pieces. I hope you find my review helpful.

Super creative way to have fun with the kids.
Set up took a little longer than expected but once you got around that it was some of the most fun my kids and I’ve had. The magnets are strong enough to be used repeatedly without issues, and the challenges are just plain fun. My kids even got creative and made their own little gravity courses the same way I used to line up dominoes when I was a kid. 5/5 if you have creative minis they will make use out of this. Just make sure a parent is around the first couple times for help with assembly and setting up.

Lovely improvement to marble kits
This is a tricky set at times, but it's a ton of fun, with a high 'sense of accomplishment' for success. Unlike many marble kits these days, this one is truly open ended. You really have to try and experiment so the marbles go where you think they will. You start with one of two identical launchers (press a button and a marble shoots out of a tube magazine with some speed). From there, they travel through bendable open tubes, which are not different from bendy straws (but much stronger). They can bounce off trampolines, but I suggest going from launcher to tube, then to trampoline, to improve predictability. They really need to hit the trampoline a certain way. Each section sticks to the wall with tape. It tends to work OK and be functional, though it isn't the most sturdy setup. We wound up keeping it generally in place and playing with only a couple of segments once set up, and we may secure it with wood screws, but you can easily use command strips to modify the set over time. We have the thing exit over a tall wooden marble set that's compatible, and it's a great time. Assembly of the launcher thing, where the tube magazine fits in, was tricky. I don't care because it's totally worth it. We also found that using Gorilla brand sticky tack to mount the marble set was very reliable and easy, and lends itself to moving pieces around more easily. Definitely buy some sticky tack if you're putting this on a regular painted wall. It's less necessary on a very smooth surface, but it just gives you more confidence in the weight capacity. The marbles are small and you need to keep them stored when this isn't in use. This is not a good toy for young kids to use unsupervised. (It's an awesome toy!) This is a great gift. Our son loved it for his birthday, and the whole family can get involved.

Not impressed
The premise is pretty awesome but the reality is far less impressive. The whole selling point for us is that you can “reuse” the pads. Well… maybe. We didn’t get more than one use out of most of them, and the ones that did stick, only stuck for a little while. Our son was insanely excited about these, only to leave him kinda frustrated and upset. He kept trying to get his ideas to stick only for them to fall apart. We tried cleaning the walls and that didn’t help. I think if the pads actually stuck to the wall and more than once and for more then a few minutes they’d be great. A good idea to exercise their minds and build connections on how to make a path. Good idea, good marketing but bad execution.
