Perfect for Cosplay
My middle son who is very much into cosplay and regularly goes to conventions was really happy with this tailcoat. He said to me that it matches exactly the brother of the last character he went as. It is well made for the price and the sizing appears to be good. The colours are vibrant and will certainly make you stand out.

Fun Steampunk-Inspired Costume Tailcoat
This tailcoat arrives folded in a box and consequently was very ceased when removed. However, use of a steam iron from a few inches away removed most of the creases. We usually wear a size sixteen coat and found that this tailcoat in ‘XL’ fitted nicely around the chest, though the sleeves were too long. The coat is made from budget quality materials. The buttons seem to be weakly attached and we would recommend reinforcing the stitching so that buttons don’t go missing. The coat is interesting, with enough embroidery and design style to make a good party piece. Teamed up with a suitable shirt, trousers and long boots, with this coat you could be a vampire, steampunk adventurer, pirate or Victorian dandy, as you wish.

Very cool tailcoat
My husband is in a glam-rock band, and he loves wearing this tailcoat to gigs. It looks really cool, is well made and a great fit on him (I got it in size L, he is 6ft tall and slim build and it’s perfect). The colours are lovely and the material is good, it did arrive slightly crumpled but the creases dropped out fine after a while.

Good as a costume
I normally ignore size charts on products like these and go for my normal size...and I'm happy I did. The size chart is complete nonsense. I'm 5'8", with a 42" chest, and I normally take a "Large" size so that's what I ordered (according to the chart I should have ordered a "small"). For me the jacket fits perfectly. I was scolded by my other half when I ordered this but when it arrived she thought it looked better than she thought it would. I on the other hand was expecting a bit more. As far as quality goes it's very much the case that it's fine for fancy dress/cosplay/costumes but it's not really something you'd wear outside. The material feels soft but it's not heavy and thick like a real jacket. The coat is made in China and there's quite a few stray threads that need to be snipped on my jacket. There's also the odd imperfection on the cloth. The workmanship isn't fantastic but for £36.99 you can't really expect too much. I ordered this with next year's Halloween in mind, as part of a vampire costume, and for that it's fine. Overall I'm quite happy with the fit, and general look, but the quality could be improved a bit.

Perfect fit
I'm a regular in my size, this fits very well! Lovely soft material, lightweight but also surprisingly warm. The deep burgundy is striking, set off well by the contrast cuffs (also patterned). The gold thread and embroidery are high quality, no loose stitches. The only real negatives are the lack of pockets and plastic buttons... but for the price, I can look past those!
