The index finger is sewed a little too long but nothing too crazy. Overall, good gloves.

These would be great for a child but if you have adult length fingers they are not for you. Quality was decent for the right person.

Classic and classy, great for prom, wedding
I ordered these because I've got an artists' gala coming up and I've opted to go with a more colorful 3/4 sleeve outfit that black gloves wouldn't go well with. These are a fairly basic short stretch satin glove, similar to the ones I wore for prom many years ago but in a wrist length that will work better with the longer sleeves. They fit as I expected, and seem to be constructed well enough to be wearable for a dozen or so occasions if I end up doing more art galas like it appears I may--good cut, clean stitching, nice-looking hem at the wrist. They work well for my gala occasions, but would also be appropriate for prom, show choir or dance performances, quinces, weddings, confirmation (for churches which do confirmation in early teens, rather than first communion at 7-8), and they're inexpensive enough to put in the dress-up closet for kids/grandkids whether or not they're new.

Light "Tomato Red" Not Burgundy, Minimal Stretch...
These are certainly "pretty" gloves, but not the very best quality, craftsmanship, or "accuracy" in color. I ordered the "burgundy," which should be more of a "wine-purplish" color, but these are definitely red, a light shimmery "tomato" red. They offer practically "no stretch," so they're not truly "one size fits all." The "stitching" around wrist area was not precise, a little crooked actually. The "thumb" area on both gloves is a little "off," not sewn or "positioned" correctly, particularly the "right" glove on this pair, it's like running too short or something... that it pulls on the fabric, doesn't lay nice and flat against your palm and feels slightly uncomfortable. But I must say, they are really "cute," feminine, stylish, but not terribly elegant or exquisite. They are not likely to be your "favorite" pair, for reasons already mentioned. Bargain, "dollar store" quality, for a bargain price. However, for a "quick" costume or ensemble, they will definitely do the trick! Not "all" is lost, I will enjoy and "appreciate" them, when "red" is the order of the day or evening. 3Stars!***
