It's a ton of white paint
Was just comparing the cost of ordering this size against the dollar tree paint and this was cheaper. Which is great because my kid had originally painted this ceramic horse head like bright red and orange...then changed his mind...so we doused it with this white paint. Interestingly enough, the contours of the horse head still comes through even after the many, many layers of white paint we put on..I figured with the layers we were dolloping on, it would just be like this amorphous white blob.

Good paint
Good quality paint and it is definitely washable. I used it for a photo shoot and it came out of the clothes and my hair just fine. Not watery, nice and thick. Doesn’t have a terrible smell either.

Wonderful smell and makes good gesso
I found the smell of this paint pleasant. A joy compared to other cheap paints that have a chemical odor such as sergeant art brand. I make my own gesso with calcium carbonate (chalk powder). I also use baby powder to make a sort of ooblek fluid. When you mix starch and water together you get a fluid that will become solid when worked. When at rest it goes back to a normal fluid. This can be incredibly helpful when trying to get your first surface treatment to make a thick layer without having to wait for it to dry. Essentially the idea is to keep things as even as possible. Not too much baby powder or it will be a powdery mess even after it dries. Calcium carbonate dies the job in preventing the baby powder from falling off after it dries. I also found this paint to help with this problem as well. I plan on buying more of this paint for that reason alone. I do mixed media on all types of surfaces. Needless to say you have to find something that works without spending a fortune on gesso alone. If you plan on trying a starch like I did. Do several experiment batches first. Getting that perfect mix is tricky the first couple of times you do it. This paint really helped in this and the smell with the baby powder is amazing.
