Tolles Rollenspiel-Set für Kinder
Der Friseursalon von Hape ist liebevoll gestaltet und bietet alles, was Kinder für ein fantasievolles Rollenspiel brauchen: Föhn, Schere, Lockenwickler und viele weitere Utensilien. Alles ist kindgerecht verarbeitet, ohne scharfe Kanten, und fühlt sich stabil an. Mein Kind hat sofort begeistert losgelegt und spielt damit regelmäßig Friseur – alleine oder mit Freunden. Besonders gut finde ich, dass die Teile realistisch aussehen, aber trotzdem völlig ungefährlich sind. Ein schönes, kreatives Spielzeug, das die Fantasie anregt und für viele Stunden Spaß sorgt. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Hape Wooden Hair Salon Kit
PROS: 1. Holds both my 6 year old and 3 year old BOYS attention for extended periods of time. We are a family that allows (realistic) screen/video game time, so a pretend-play toy that is good enough to keep them engaged for more than 20 minutes is always really impressive. 2. I appreciate that the colors are mostly gender neutral. Other comparable "wooden salon" toys are very feminine in color and appearance (loads of pink, hearts, sparkles, etc). Everyone gets their hair done, so I appreciate that this toy leans neutral. 3. It is very well made and feels sturdy. It obvious that there was attention to detail when making the set. The majority of the items are wooden, with the exception being the clips/rollers (those wouldn't work well if wooden), the aprons, and the small bit of plastic on the hairdryer. The use of non-wooden items in this set is appropriate and doesn't feel like it was done to lessen cost. 4. Speaking of the hairdryer; it makes sound (which I generally am not fond of). In this case, it is a realistic noise rather than a music tune or talking/singing, and it really aided in the imaginative play. It is not annoying, and only plays when the button is held down. Better yet, it came with the batteries installed too! I feel like that never happens with toys anymore. 5. There is a cape for the "client" and an apron for the stylist. Those with siblings will know- this is huge. No more fighting over who is going to get to be the stylist and wear the dress up, because either role has something to wear. Its realistic to everyday life, but also a nice quality of life thing for me as a mom. AND the head openings are large enough that I can wear either of them during play time as well. (cue restful playing while mom lays back and has her hair played with...). CONS: 1. There were a few rough areas in the wood on the scissors, but this is me *really* nit-picking. They weren't sharp, didn't make the toy feel low quality or anything. 2. I wish that for the price there were maybe one or two more items. Like maybe clippers or something similar (because both boys and girls have haircuts that use them)? 3. The little duster brush was a bit stiff, which made it just slightly scratchy. I would bet that after more use this is less of an issue. Should my opinions change after my kids play with this more, I will update my review.

Great toy for kids
I got this hair salon set for my 5-year-old daughter and she absolutely loves it. The hair dryer makes the real sound. She has a ton of fun while playing with this. These pieces are safe for a young child to use as well and the size is perfect for her little hands. Upon receiving this, I was immediately impressed by the appearance of this product. It was well packaged. It looked exactly as described in the photos. This product feels sturdy, which gives it a sense of quality. I am not sure if this is real wood, but it feels like it will last a long time. Overall, the product appears to be well-constructed. In terms of performance, I am glad that this product met my expectations as well as my daughter.Considering its price at $16.25, I believe the product offers good value for money.

My son loves giving us haircuts!
My almost 4 year old son loves this set and “cuts” my hair almost daily. He really gets a kick out of being able to use all the tools he sees when we go get our hair cut together at my salon, however a pair of clippers would have been a nice addition. The blow dryer is a cute addition with a fairly realistic sound. All of the tools fit nicely in his little hands and he has so much fun getting the tools in and out of the pockets on the apron. This set is of great quality and we’re super happy with it.

Perfect good quality set for some pretend play
This set is really cute. The quality feels really nice, however, the apron and cape do feel more like polyester than cotton; I don't mind this, and for the price I wasn't expecting cotton. All the accessories function similar to the real counterparts. The noise the hair dryer make sounds pretty realistic (no air though), the spray bottle's trigger does truely move, the scissors open and close, and you can squeeze the flat iron together. I also love toys that have their own storage. All the accessories fit nicely in the front pocket on the apron for easy and neat clean up. The packaging is all cardboard and tissue paper, so not unnecessary plastic packaging, and it was not difficult to open and get accessories out for immediate play if gifting; I've definitely had issues with other toys we've been gifted being hard to open, not this. The only think I would have change is, I would have preferred a working spray bottle, but I have a small one we can use. Some people might not prefer a working one, that is just my preference. This is a really nice set for the price, and would definitely recommend
