Guilt-free toy
This toy is fun, educational, eco-friendly, made in the USA, and phthalate, BPA, and lead free. It's a guilt-free toy! It is one of our favorite bath toys. It floats very well (compared to many other bath toys that don't), and it sparks my 5-year old's imagination. He likes to pretend that the plane is landing on the water, or he will push the plane under so it fills up with water and pretend it is sinking (so his superheroes can save the day). His 1.5 year old sister loves filling it up and dumping it out as well. The only improvement I could possibly suggest would be for it to come with a little pilot to put in and take out of the cockpit. We don't have an action figure that is small enough, but this is really a very minor consideration. We might even be able to find something that would work. We actually haven't looked because my kiddo doesn't seem to mind at all, and it hasn't affected his enjoyment of the toy. We would still buy this toy over and over again. Because it does sink, it would be best for a tub or a pool (as opposed to a lake where you may not find it). The drain holes are great--it drains fast and seems to dry completely. I have yet to have problems with it getting smelly or moldy. The price is really reasonable for the quality of this toy, in my opinion. Love it!

As an educator and a parent I understand what will work for a young child's growing development and curiosity. Pros: - I love the simple design of this Seaplane. - It's easy for little hands to manipulate this toy. - Well made and best part, it's made in the USA! - My little one loves moving this truck around, it's lightweight and easy to move around, even on carpet or in the sandbox. - The propeller spins. - Electronic free toy. First I love that it is made in the USA . 100% recycled plastic . I do my part of recycling and love it .No BPA PVC It is not flimsy ,a hard plastic made toy . Oh dish washer safe . (I'm the dish washer ????)My grandson will love this , out side , in the dirt , in the pool or tube or on the floor , or bed . It's a win win , no matter what !

Would rate 5 stars, but shipping irked us
First, about the product: I'm basing this review on a seaplane that someone else had at the pool that my 3-year old son practically hogged until I took it away from him. Strong construction, VERY cool product. Floats and is just one of those toys that you know will last until your kids have grandkids. It's THAT well constructed. For this I give 5 stars. Second, about the shipping: This is why I deducted 1 star. It was supposed to get to us by Jan 2 but it arrived (after we left of course) on Jan 9th. Was pretty irked about that. We bought the submarine as well, and that got to us in time, so we were surprised that the plane didn't come with the sub (ordered at the same time). See my review on the submarine - I'm all 5 stars and such about it. All these Green Toys products are awesome!

Green Toys don't disappoint
We purchased this sea plane because the Green Toys Tugboat has proven to be everything the manufacturer claims. For the past six months, it has been our toddler's favorite pool and bathtub toy. It fits small hands, holds just enough water to be fun to play with and is easy to drain or clean. These are by far the best toys for a wet environment, as well as being made of sturdy materials and colors are added in the manufactruing process and not painted on later. This makes the toys safer and nothing has broken or chipped by a toddler that likes to play rough and make big splashes. We highly recommend any toy made by this company. We intend to buy the submarine when the weather gets warm.

Green Toys are great and this is no exception!
My kids have had Green Toys for years, so when it was time to pick something out for my 3 year old for his 4th birthday, it was a no brainer. Gave him this right before going to the beach. He loves it. Spent all week playing with it in the sand and salt water. Easy to clean and no concerns over rust since there is no metal. A lot of fun on the beach, in the pool, and in the house as well. Just a great purchase.
Wir haben schon das U-Boot und jetzt zum Start der Badesaison sollte es noch ein neues spielzeug werden. Wir haben uns für das wasserflugzeug entschieden - es ist schön groß und robust. Leider ohne Pilot. Das Flugzeug schwimmt auf dem Wasser und wenn es "abstürzt" und untergeht kann das Wasser gut ablaufen. Geliefert wurde innerhalb von 2 Tagen- von der Verpackung war ich enttäuscht - Pappkarton und Plastikfolie- wo bleibt da der Umweltaspekt? Die Folie hätte ich wegbleiben können.

Muy bonito juguete, a mi hijo le encanta para jugar en la piscina. Además de ser bonito, los plásticos encajan bien, son de un tacto agradable y no hay nada que le pudiera dañar. Es de calidad. Llevamos 6 meses con ello, se queda al sol, afuera, etc y no se destinó ni alteró. Muy recomendable. También tenemos el submarino y es igual de bueno

Brilliant for the bath
These toys are fantastic. My boys aged 3 & 5 have the sub, boat, helicopter & this sea plane which they play with most bath times. These seem to be robust & well made plus they drain easily so they don't suddenly leak 'black water' as the kids put it - I've had to throw out numerous other bath toys because they've got water in places you can't reach & have gotten mouldy so this one is a winner. Can be used in pools & general play too.
