Not quite an Erector Set
What I like - The parts are good quality, and it's nice to see a toy that reminds me of the Erector Sets I grew up with, using actual nuts, bolts, and other metal parts. It's a great way for young (but not too young) kids to learn about mechanical assembly. It's pretty challenging, but not too much so. What I do not like - This is not an Erector Set, as the selection of parts is too limited. It seems the days of allowing children to just be creative are of a bygone era, whether it be kits like this or Legos. This kit contains very specific parts for assembling a small set of very specific models. There isn't much for "replayability" or creativity once the product is assembled. Which merges in with my second complaint - this is a pretty expensive toy for something that's put together in an afternoon, only to end up at the bottom of the toy box afterwards.

Fun Little Chopper Kit That Sparks Creativity!
This helicopter building set’s a cool find for tinkerers—comes with a pile of bits that snap together into a legit-looking flyer. Kept my kid busy for hours, and I’ll admit I got sucked into messing with it too. The STEM angle’s no gimmick—figuring out how the pieces fit really gets the brain ticking, and the instructions are clear enough to follow without hand-holding. Parts feel tough, not cheap, and the end result’s sturdy enough to swoosh around. Only snag is some of the smaller bits are tricky to snap in—fingers need a bit of patience.
