The first RC body I painted I cut it out using an utility knife, standard scissors, and even tried tin shears. The second I bought these scissors and my what a difference. If you are going to customize an RC body, you must get a pair of these.

Great Lexan Scissors -- works great on other materials too.

Not consistently good
I ordered one pair of these and they worked awesome - absolutely loved them. So, I ordered two more.... and they were both duds. The curves of the two parts of the scissors are not lined up with each other, so they don't glide past each other tightly (there is a gap between them) and therefore they don't cut anything. (Tried to add a photo but it's hard to see). Super disappointed as I know how great they could be, but inconsistent manufacturing left me very disappointed. I'm about to return them but of course I don't get the shipping cost back.... Beware if you're buying they could either be great, or terrible.
