Nice subject kit, but take a LOT of work
If you are looking for a straightforward, easy to assemble kit where everything just comes together like a well engineered aircraft like the Tornado, look elsewhere. This isn’t your Hasegawa \ Tamiya \ Bandai kit. You will spend a lot of time getting those air intakes fitted as well as possible until you break out the knives, sanding files and putty. Italeri kit quality is generally below average IMHO - but far better than the average Revell USA kits. The Good + The price. A Hasegawa kit will cost twice as much - but most likely have less than half the frurstration. + The decals are VERY NICE - thin, and conforms to the panel lines well + The Gulf War edition is a very nice subject + Wings swing - and the pylons can be moved to accommodate the sweep angle - but... see Ugly The Bad - Some instructions just make you wonder what the heck? The fuel tank fins? Don’t bother. - More plastic flashes than Flash Gordon The Ugly - The Air Intakes are poorly fitted - be prepared to do a LOT of sanding and puttying to make it fit properly. A LOT - To mount the pylons, you have to heat a flathead screwdriver to press the plastic into a rotatable position - Not kid friendly

Amazon…c’mon man!
I have ZERO problems with this model kit or the company that manufactured it. It appears to be a very detailed kit, with well-molded parts and a nice sheet of decals. I’m sure it would be a fine looking completed kit, especially with the paint scheme they chosen to utilize. My reason for giving this kit one star is because TWICE I purchased it from Amazon and TWICE they thought it was a good idea to ship a thin cardboard box filled with FRAGILE plastic parts in a plastic BAG with NO PADDING! TWICE!!! I received the first kit with the box completely crushed. I promptly returned it to Amazon with a request for a replacement. Amazon literally took the EXACT SAME CRUSHED KIT and sent it back to me as replacement for the first kit! Only the second time I received it there was even more damage done to it in transit. Probably because the ONLY thing they changed was that they put it in a new unpadded plastic bag to mail it in. They certainly did NOT send a brand new, undamaged kit. Amazon, you need to do better, especially for customers who have been with you for a LONG time.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and it is going to be an embarrassment to give it to him. As I don’t do models, I have no idea if anything is missing from the box. So not happy!

Value for money at £15, sharp mouldings and decal sheet, four gulf variant s to make. Instructions seem easy to read, pity not in colour, but, it's an all over desert one colour! The back of the box shows variations in colour. It's a side opening box, I prefer top lid boxes. Recommend kit.

I prodotti della Italeri sono sempre una garanzia e infatti la qualità degli stampi e delle plastiche sono di buon livello. Il servizio di Amazon puntuale e in questo caso anche piuttosto conveniente, il prezzo infatti è ottimo. Non ho ancora montato il modello ma sono sicuro che la resa sarà buona.
