Lightweight, quality backdrop stand for a budget price
This stand is so much better than I expected it to be, I'm surprised the price is so low. All of the individual components fit together well. The stand is easy to assemble and disassemble. The finish on the metal poles is smooth and consistent. The plastic clamps attached to the poles are strong, and do a good job of securing the adjustable pole height the way you set it. The included carrying bag is a welcome accessory, not only for mobility, but also as a way to keep all of the components together for storage. All the parts of the stand easily fit in the bag. The four included spring clamps do their job well with the backdrops we attached to the stand. This is a lightweight stand, so there is a very slight droop in the 10-foot crossbar but it's barely noticeable. Since mot of my backdrops are seven feet wide, I'm considering cutting the string that holds all of the crossbar segments together and assembling the crossbar with 2 fewer segments. That would make it just over seven feet long and perfect for the backdrops I have. I can always add the other segments back if I need the crossbar to be longer. Ten feet of crossbar is a little much for my home office when I use the stand to hold backdrops during video calls. Seven feet would work perfectly. I am happy I ordered this stand and more than happy with the quality and value for the price. The photos show the stand outside. I am 6 feet, 4 inches tall. One photo shows me under the stand for size perspective. When that photo was taken the stand could still have been adjusted to be 8 - 10 inches taller.

Nice quality, easy to put together, width is not as flexible as one that slides
This was super easy to setup even without bothering to read the instructions. It's pretty sturdy and adjusting the height is very easy. However, I do wish I read the rest of the reviews or paid more attention to the description. I'm used to most display being width adjustable. But this one has pieces that you screw together across the top that are all connected by a string. So it was too wide for my use. I think I'm just going to cut the string so that I then can just use however many top pieces are needed based on whatever backdrop I have. It's just not as flexible and something that simply has a few pieces that slide. So just something to pay attention to.

Great PORTABLE backdrop stand and taller then the dimentions
I have another background stand I use that is really secure, however case is huge and it is really hard to lug around when I need it. This is where this stand excels. The stand folds up so small, you can fit it in a carry-on suitcase. This is VERY convenient. What you get in convenience, it is missing for set up speed. It does take a bit longer to assemble, and the metal screws can get jammed if you are not careful, however for the portability, it is really slick. One of the biggest call-outs is that it is TALLER than they say. it comes with 2 additional spacers which take it from about 6'2 To 7 feet. I was worried at first because I need something where someone can stand under the entire stand, and with the spacers, this works great. The extra wide poles do provide plenty of support.

Very sturdy and robust backdrop kit. Really great value.
This is a really strong set. I expected it to be weaker and thank its good for long term repeat use. I had some problems taking it apart because I overtightened, so beware of that. Its fully portable and fits its carry bag no problem. It only took me 5 minutes to assemble it, and soon had a quality backdrop in place, no sagging. The trips work well and it is sturdy when assembled. Its robust, so maybe more sturdy than people expect. The long bar is great, this is form bigger backdrops and the folding bar is sturdy enough to work well without being a weak point. The folds dont just slide into each other, they screw in. This makes for a very sturdy crossbar. The gator clips included are pretty strong lil clips that hold my cords well. The tube used accepts my 1" mounts. So I can add lights, reflectors, etc. Overall this is really a good kit made to be affordable. I am also intermittently using it for another purpose I want to show off. It can be assembled as a very tall antennae base, with potential for even more thinner diameter extensions on top. Depending on use, this alternative application of the design can be exceptionally valuable and for the price can be considered a great tech hack.

Temperamental joints, light duty, functional
Overall impression: This backdrop goes together easily, as long as the joints are well lined up. I struggled quite a bit with one screw and it seems like the threads are easily stripped. The pieces are metal, easily strong enough to hold a fabric backdrop. There may need to be extra tie downs to secure this to the earth if this is used outside with a breeze. The clamps are strong and grip well. The clips for the sides are elastic and adjustable. This works great as a room divider or display or backdrop.
