Adapted slightly to fit my 9 year old who wanted to go to school on World Book Day as Hedwig from Harry Potter. We made the costume ourselves and these were perfect for easy wings. Lasted well and withstood a day in school. Material is light and floaty with elasticated straps over the shoulders. Haven’t washed them so not sure what they would be like after that. Probably fine if wash by hand or on a gentle cycle.

World book day outfit
Bought for my granddaughter as wanted for her school world book day. She dressed as Hedwig from Harry Potter. She was very happy with them and enjoyed dressing up still with her wings.

Best swan in the Christmas play!
My 10 year old wore these in her school Christmas play. She was a swan in Mr Partrich’s performing troupe. :-) She looked brilliant and loved wearing them. They are simple and affordable; no real feathers or anything like that. That’s why it was perfect for her purposes as they were light and easy to wear.
