Kato detail and smoothrunning at a great price
ED-73 locomotive is similar to Kato N gauge locomotive ED-75. Runs as smoothly as expected from Kato. Analog and not DCC, but runs at crawl speed if wanted and can be accelerated / decelerated very slowly till desride running speed / or complete stop is reached. blends in with other locomotives and has become a favorite locomotive for pulling freight trains.

TYPICAL KATO QUALITY LOCOMOTIVE
Usual excellent KATO quality. I could not recognize coupler style from pictures, so only a slight disappointment to see RAPIDO style couplers. I have not looked at loco close enough to see how easy a change to MT's would be. I think it is a good value for the cost.
