One of the best of Airfix's new tools
I don't understand the one star review for this kit, maybe it was just beyond that modeller. I have been modelling mainly aircraft on and off for some 50 years now and have recently built 8 or 9 of the newer tooled Airfix kits. The photo shows my rendition of the other boxing of this kit, with different markings and a resin Radome which were obtained separately. I wouldn't recommend a bi-plane as a beginner kit but this goes together without any problems, the only slight difficulty was with the fuselage mounted struts which is added before assembling the upper wing but I may try adding this after putting the upper wing on with this boxing I have just recently obtained. There is excellent interior detail and a full weapon load out, including a nice torpedo trolley to display along side the aircraft in a diorama if required. Although on the model shown I didn't use the kit decals I have had no problems with other decals by Airfix, which are manufactured by Cartograph in Italy I believe. The rigging was done using a stretch thread by a firm called 'Uschi' attached using super-glue. Very fiddly and trying of patience but worth the effort. All in all a great, accurate, well fitting kit. Looking forward to building this boxing, which can still be found if you look around as currently not available from the manufacturer. Recommended.

Perfetto per realizzare la versione della "notte di Taranto". Ben fatto facile da montare. I tiranti non inclusi sono un problema.

キット自体は2013年初版の物で、本製品は2017年に登場したパッケージとデカールを変更した事実上の再販商品です。 このスケールのソードフィッシュとしては最新かつ決定版と呼べるキットで、プロポーションとディテールも素晴らしい出来です。 デカールはカルトグラフ製で、空母グローリアス搭載機とジャッジメント作戦時の空母イラストリアス搭載機のマーキングが付属しています。 本製品も現在では絶版らしく、パッケージとデカールを更に変更したバージョンが最近発売されましたが、価格が大幅に値上がりしているのが残念です。
