Great Puzzle!
This puzzle was a lot of fun! I bought it as a replacement for my sis-in-law's puzzle that my kids got some water on. The image is fun and the mystery of it is fantastic! It's colorful, fantastic value, and the quality is good. Anytime a puzzle like this soaks up water, it's going to ruin it, so that was user error, not the fault of the puzzle! It's a nice size and challenge - tons of fun!

Fun puzzle with a small added mystery
My husband got this as a gift for me and it was so fun! I love puzzles and mysteries so this was really fun. I loved the small story of what you were trying to solve, and then building the puzzle to see the scene so I could find the culprit based on clues around them.

Fun puzzle
This was a really fun puzzle, not too hard. Solving the mystery is pretty challenging. The mystery stands alone because it is part of the book that is sold separately from this puzzle and you really only need the picture that the puzzle makes to solve the mystery so I feel the product description is a little misleading. Also if you have the book you can see the image of the puzzle if you don't want to put it together blind. The image is also in an envelope in the puzzle box. I think given that this is really just a jigsaw puzzle that the product description is a little misleading but it is a really fun and visually appealing puzzle with a challenging brain puzzle within it.

Was pleasantly surprised
Wasn't familiar with the brand and there were no reviews, so took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Decent quality/thickness cardboard, and they did interlock nicely but not enough to be able to easily move larger sections around. Which is annoying when you don't know the image and will likely have to rearrange sections as their orientation is discovered. Smaller sections move well though. Minimal puzzle dust. Pretty standard piece shapes, but has no issues with pieces fitting together that did not belong, so pretty unique cut. Didn't want to spoil the image, so just included some of the piece shapes and example of how well it interlocks. Image ended up being nice and busy with lots of interesting things to look at, as well as distinctive colors and sections making for a fun puzzle experience. Took me about an hour and a half including sorting. (About normal for a 500 pc puzzle for me.) The story and subsequent mystery were brief but added that extra bit of interaction to the puzzle that makes you stop and really admire all the details in the final puzzle image you may not have noticed while puzzling. I also like that it included a hint before you reveal the full answer rather than an all or nothing kinda thing. The box shape/design is a nice touch and would make a nice gift, but the lid doesn't seem to stay closed super well despite it being slightly magnetic so it snaps close. So storing it vertically would be a risk if it didn't come in a convenient resealable bag. (Which it does, and I always appreciate.) Will probably pick up the other in this series soon. Hope to see more of these in the future!

A great way to spend 3 days at a cabin!
I enjoyed every moment with this puzzle. I was able to complete it in 3 days. I loved the mystery angle too. I will definitely be ordering more of these puzzles.

One puzzle great, the second a little disappointing.
We really enjoyed the process of putting together the mystery puzzle itself, but the final puzzle solution to answer the mystery was a real stretch. That part was very disappointing so that's why I give this one a 3. The book style box though is a real plus as it is perfect for storage with style on a bookshelf. We would definitely buy another one from this company though.

Very well-made puzzles
I love puzzles with a twist and quite enjoyed these ones, though I liked the Clairvoyant's Convention a lot more than The Missing Will. Packaging: I really enjoy the packaging for them, as fake books with a nice almost soft and smooth feel and I honestly wish every puzzle in the world came in a box the shape of a book. It makes them look so much nicer on a shelf and they're a lot harder to accidentally damage. The pieces come in a white fold-up-top paper bag, which makes it feel very fancy. Since most puzzles these days don't include any sort of resealable bag, I very much appreciate this, especially since the box stands upright and the pieces could fall out otherwise since it has a side opening. The boxes close with a magnet that is strong enough to keep it closed but not strong enough that it's hard to open. Pieces: The pieces felt nice, and they weren't excessively challenging to put together (i.e. no massive spaces of the same color). The pieces didn't leave blue dust everywhere, and I don't think any of them are the same shape as others, so you can't put two pieces together that aren't supposed to and have them fit. The pieces fit tightly enough that they won't fall apart when you move them. I think one of the puzzles came with an extra random piece, but none of the pieces were missing. Image: Not having the finished image makes puzzles more difficult, but I actually enjoy it much more that way and unless a puzzle is particularly difficult, I usually don't look at the image anyway. I like puzzles where I can look over all the details, and The Clairvoyant's Convention included many details, though the art style makes it hard to make out what exactly some of those details are, which also makes the puzzle harder. I felt that The Missing Will's finished image was a lot less detailed and not as entertaining. Mystery: I'm not particularly good at solving detective mysteries. The Clairvoyant's Convention was pretty easy for me, but not necessarily in a bad way. It felt nice to actually solve a mystery puzzle, because usually I'm not quite able to (but I pretend my answer is the truth). Some mystery puzzles, which includes The Missing Will, are nearly impossible to figure out given all available clues, in my opinion. So the Missing Will had a very disappointing solution, despite my best efforts to solve it. It's the sort of thing that makes you go "how was I possibly supposed to get that?" Neither of the puzzles have a little story booklet as many mystery puzzles do, but there are a couple paragraphs on the inside of the book, which is good enough for me. Overall: I would give The Clairvoyant's Convention 5 stars, and The Missing Will 4 stars.

I only wish they made more like this!
Thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle. The final picture is a rich and interesting scene. It made for a fun holiday family dinner activity. The only real disappointment I have is that there aren’t more puzzles like this!

Great family activity!
Did this over the course of 3 days with my wife and daughter during the holidays. Puzzle was challenging enough for us and the other layer where you have to solve the mystery made this highly enjoyable. Would love to do the next one if this is a series.
