Fun and cute!
Pretty decent playfood. Some reviewers complained about the pancakes & english muffin not looking realistic. We eat whole wheat english muffins, and I think it looks fairly realistic. I just wish they had 2 slices. The pancakes would have looked more realistic if the tops were smooth rather than lumpy. Real pancakes are smooth on both sides. The color could also be improved. My favorites are the very realistic banana, bowl of strawberries, and the OJ! Looks like educational food models that I use in my practice as an RD:) I also love that each meal set has foods from all 5 food groups. So if you have all 3 sets, an educational activity could be to have your kids organize all the foods into each food group. You can definitely mix & match.

Great for 2 year old - holding up well
My two year old loves helping me cook in the kitchen so getting him his own play kitchen and food was a natural fit. He's been using this breakfast set (got another lunch set as well) every day since Christmas and it's still holding up to every day wear and tear. This seems to be a better set then what I've seen in stores or at my friends houses; really sturdy and takes a beating at times. Everything looks pretty real and he loves "cooking" while I prep meals.

Beautiful selection from a reliable company
My almost-three-year-old granddaughters are constantly trying to serve pretend food to everyone in the room, so I was on a mission to find something for them to actually put on their plates. This is one of the best breakfast sets I’ve seen—it includes all the foods they’re familiar with (and underscores their mom’s attempts to teach them about healthy foods). As a retired teacher, I’m familiar with Learning Resources and highly recommend their products. I and many of my compatriots used so many LR items in our classrooms, and they stood up to daily—and sometimes rough—use. This set will be with us for a long while.

Great, but not best Healthy Food Set
Contains 2 pancakes, English muffin half, egg, glass of orange juice, yogurt cup, banana, strawberries (I think there were about eight), a bowl for the strawberries, and basket. Cons: pancakes do not look like pancakes, English muffin looks funny, can't open yogurt cup (at least the lid won't get lost), can't take "juice" out of cup Pros: bowl for strawberries is cute, other food looks realistic I highly recommend the Learning Resources food. All of their food is a bit rubbery, so you can bend the pancakes and egg. This small detail makes it so much more realistic than the rock hard plastic or wooden play food. The paint also stays on. I would recommend looking at the Learning Resources Breakfast Foods, Set of 16 though before you buy. You might want to buy this set instead. By the way, I contacted Learning Resources about the safety of their plastic and this is their response. "We take safety very seriously and all of our products meet or exceed safety standards. I am writing to assure you that all our product meets Learning Resources high standards for toy safety. They do NOT contain phthalates or lead and are made of PVC and low density polyethylene. They do not contain BPA and is made with PVC plastics. We take safety very for all of our children's products and toys are evaluated against the standards set forth by the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). This includes testing for certain phthalates (a plasticizer used to make plastic soft), lead in paint, lead in substrate and compliance with the testing guidelines set forth by ASTM F-963."

Lots of benefits...
My daughter has lots of play food, but this is by far the best. It gets her accustomed to associating fruits & vegetables with meals & snacks and making healthy food & drink choices more of a norm. The english muffins and fruit are just so realistic! It reminds me that breakfast can be (and is supposed to be) healthy, too. She also even has fun with the basket it all comes in when she plays grocery store (selecting fruits and vegetables, of course). Kids loose interest in their toys so quickly, but this is one she consistently plays with over and over again. I also highly recommend the lunch and dinner sets, too. The quality in these toys far exceeds that of her other play food, making it really stand out from the rest. Two big thumbs up!

Great kitchen play item.
Perfect for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves to pretend to cook the items and serve them up to the family. They are quite realistic, and made of sturdy quality plastics. We added the "lunch" and "dinner" baskets after receiving this one.

Great food set except...
Okay, the food that came with this set is very realistic and my daughter could play with this stuff in her kitchen for hours, BUT...the yogurt container was crushed and unusable when I received it. I'm STILL waiting on that replacement product. This is an expensive food set, so I was not pleased to receive it damaged. However, the rest of the food seems to be durable. My daughter has a blast identifying the various foods and serving them up to her family, friends, and teddy bears--great for the imagination! Despite the yogurt container, I still feel this is a quality food set and I'm happy I bought it.

Excelente calidad
Muy bonito, parecen reales, anteriormente había comprado la versión anterior a ésta, puedo decir que mejoraron la calidad del huevo y la banana, pero le quito una estrella por que en esta versión no incluyen la tapa del yogurt.
